Its just an idea. More Place to storage = more resources = more money

What about the rorq? has quite a bit of storage. That plus a few Hulks can easily strip a belt in less than a hour depending on circumstances and skills. Seems like anything more or quicker would be getting close to ridiculous.

I mean for solo minning. With a bigger Exhumer you can spend more time at a belt without docking so much.

Yeah but CCP wants us to play together, they want people to get out of the NPC corps and get into the multiplayer aspect of it all. There are a lot of limitations for single player in any profession. If you want to mission solo then you eventually have to stop at lev4's because lev5's require some team work or at the very least some protection going into low sec.
Industrialists hit a road block when they want to get the good stuff out in Null, and you aren't going into null without friends/corp or an alliance.
I think they want to leave you wanting more than you are able to do solo.

Easiest way to do this is to get a second account and use the alt in an indy to haul for you.

This idea gets suggested every couple of weeks and there are two problems with it.
1) CCP have said the hulk is going to remain the king of mining.
2) More ore per hour will not make you richer once every one has the ship. It just means that ore becomes cheaper as there is much move being mined per hour.
You may want to dig out other threads (use eve-search.com and search for capital miner) to see the longer version of why a bigger mining ship is a bad idea. Macrointel, the place were the nature order of the universe does not hold sway. Pirates and ore thief's are congratulated by carebears for the actions. |

I agree
Minings boring
I once suggested a mining barge that can go into seige mode (like dreads) to boost production

They need to make more agile and defensible mining ships than this. Part of the problem with barges is that they only can be used in places of total safety, and even then you can suicide them.
Honestly, mining ships, even cruisers, can't fit offensive weaponry, often have no defense due to the large cpu requirements and weak nature of most, and aren't agile. This is in addition to the fact that the act of mining pins you in place in vulnerability.
But then again, the lolPvPers need fish in a barrel to shoot I guess.
