Hello there. I'm going to stop playing EVE for a while, but before I go I figured I would spread the love a little bit. I've accumulated a token amount of wealth and I want to spend it in new and interesting ways before I turn off the lights.
As such, I'm going to host a series of contests and events through which you can drain my coffers for your own personal gain.
The first of these is quite simple and has been done before. As the thread title suggests, I just want you to write me a short essay - at least a couple of paragraphs - detailing what you would do if you were suddenly given a hundred million kredits to blow. Get creative, think outside the box; you will be judged on thoughtfulness, originality, and creativity. The winner will be - shocker! - transferred a hundred million kredits at the end of the contest to do with as they please.
As a bonus, there will be five additional prizes of ten million to good ideas for simple contests that I can run in the future. These will also be judged on creativity and originality, and should be ideas that encourage creativity on the part of the contestants. In order to be eligible for this prize you must include your contest idea at the end of your main prize entry.
You have one week to mail in your entry to this character. The contest ends at midnight -5 GMT on the 26th. Winners will be announced in this thread, as will the next contest.
In summary:
Mail your entries to this character, Honor Stephanie Harrington. Entries must be at least a couple of paragraphs long. Entries should be detailed and creative. Bonus prizes to entries which also include ideas for future contests. Contest ends in one week.
Good luck to everyone.

if I was suddenly given a 100 mil isk to blow I'd probably have no idea were it came form so I;d petiton ccp to say I never bought it from a farmer just in case some one was trying to frame me I'd then file it away with the rest of my isk.

I will set up, and oversee, a noob training scheme, teaching them how to make isk and also how to lose it gloriously in battle. It's something I've been thinking of doing for a while since I generally spend too much time responding to trolls on the forum and would rather put that effort to good use
This is my second paragraph.

uhhm?
What if you suddenly were given 10 000 isk, what would you blow your iskies on? Construction Blocks, Zor's custom navigation Mindlink, a few missiles?
do you even play eve? 100 mill is not the amount of money you can spend and gain something significant. It won't get you a t1 fitted Raven, the paramount caraberism machine.
Yeah, you can buy a ton of badgers and make a badger collection in space... leave unpiloted ships in space so that people may come and observe. you can easily get 250 badgers in space unpiloted and post an advertisement that one of them contains a prize of great value. (say some notable loot, deadspace to make sure)
People would have to scan badgers down and enter the ship to see what's inside. The only thing with badgers - they are randomly safespotted and you never know which badger you are gonna locate now.
Some people would try and look for the prize out of pure interest, imagine the adventure they are gonna have? Scan down badgers, pick one up, leave it continue to next one. Assuming that in high sec destruction of badgers is a risky business
Better yet, leave some clues in their cargoholds in form on named bookmarks, which lead to a treasure chest, located in unknown solar system at planet X. The password to the container is however hidden.
And the container has the keys to guess what? A POS with a Carrier in it. And you will be given the pos password, so u can possibly enter and take the prize.

I would donate it to the event i'm running
http://griefer-geddon.blogspot.com/
which is a contest to kill the most gankers this Hulkageddon. While it's not officially accepting donations anymore, I've come to see the need for a "scarecrow" prize for people who don't get ANY kills but manage to spook gankers away from ganking hulks anyway. I know just the person this would go do, a dedicated ganker-hunter who just can't seem to find a red.
I think i just maybe the most isk-poor carebear in the game because I keep giving my isk away :)
