Capsuleer Races and Violent Events Inc. will be going "public" in the next week or so.
Mission Statement
CRAVE is committed to expanding the number and diversity of capsuleer-run events in New Eden by providing financial, media and conceptual services to would-be event sponsors as they add both value and entertainment to the New Eden experience.
Site - Not Public Yet
The full business plan and IPO are available at the website.
TLDR
People like to race. Events are complicated. We make them work. Check out our boards to signup for events. If you didn't read it all à don't bother proposing an event or asking to help, our standard of documentation is too much for you. Feel free to buy shares though, investment is easy and 100% dividend based.

I would be interested in investing (not sure if thats the right word) but it will need a lot more fleshing out.
If I read your original thread correctly, it almost seems that you would be asking for donations more than an investment. You may need to think a little more about the actual business plan behind it before starting a thread in MD, you'll need to show things like how the investors will get a return on their investments and after reading your original thread I'm not too sure how that would work.
For ideas you might want to check out the ISRC racing event for some ideas.
I really honestly don't see how this could generate much of a return but asking for donations toward an event could still work.
The biggest problem I could see is that you take donations and run, this could be fixed by getting a third party to hold things like prize money and/or bets and pay out based on results. The actual organisation shouldn't take a lot more than time and people helping out.
Interesting idea tho but needs a lot more research.
(and yes, I'd be willing to donate but would be more interested if you could explain how I could expect a return on my investment and my principal back)

The IPO/Business plan is over 20 pages in length. This and its current status (pending approval) are the reasons it has not been posted. In addition to this, Over 10 pages of documentation for ongoing business relations (forms/ contract templates) have been drafted and approved. A contract has been drafted (and previous versions partially approved) for 3rd party collateralization for financial services rendered. Beyond this, the website (a glorified forum) represents well over 50 man-hours of effort. A working excel book has been created for tracking account balances, gambling, event fees and share payments. Startup capital has already been obtained.
Think of this thread as an eventual "grand opening" rather than as an IPO/ request for investment.
The flesh will come. I assure you, its there. (It's being hidden atm for administrative reasons only)

i would post something similar to this in the sell forum aswell as a service. the people there will probly go nuts for something like this.
anyway i applaud you and your business its new idea(for eve) and thats something we rarely see in eve. ive long awaited something like a star wars pod race type event and i hope this is it.
PS. im curious will you run races through low sec/null sec to spice things up?

oh ho i see someone read the original thread :-P and yes, we have plans to run races through low and null (even considering w!?!)
it will be more clear when you can see the "flesh" but what i can say now is this, CRAVE and any events it holds/sponsors will be, for the most part, independent of each other. as prospective "sponsors" (the term will make more sense later) each founding partner of CRAVE has some unique race/event ideas already in motion. sadly, the event aspired to in the original thread has been put on the back burner, but its still simmering and may be served up as soon as two months from now.
good idea with the buy/sell thread... never posted there before..

and then, when you get an offer of a donation/investment you claim that you've already gotten the startup capital and this thread should just be seen as a 'grand announcement on a pending opening' for an event that has little to nothing to do with the MD folks.

I have 0 college business edu. it's based on high school econ and Internship experience.
Anyway as to the site aesthetic, we're working on it. There's a way to bust into the html files.. just haven't found it yet and as such can't fix image size/table cell attributes. If someone wants to help with site design, there's potentially some isk in it for you.

As outlined in the updated first post, we are currently revising documentation.
Some documents completed
1. bylaws
2. revised business plan
3. shareholder report template
4. event financial tracker (excel sheet)
5. employment contract
6. tldr (forum post versions of everything)
Some documents still in the works
1. about the founders (a personal and financial history of founders' accounts)
2. list of terms (just in case it gets confusing)
3. new 3rd party contract (previous 3rd party terminated contract)
4. various Forms: ... (the templates used for day-to-day business)
Our first race will be held this coming Sunday.
It's our goal to reopen investment and publish these documents on sunday as well.
It may seem like overkill, but the goal is to create a lasting business model/service which will outlive any of our current members. We've taken all the criticism, comments and critiques to heart; we will continue to value any and all input!

Look, as was pointed out the full records are still available. I removed them hoping to move on to new conversation topics in the interest of progress. Rather than continue addressing and readdressing such things as "not having a business plan" or "not having a website" (both simple products of tldr and lacking foundation in reality). It appears by trying to move past these its drawn your attention to them. If you would like to discuss previously irrelevant and counterproductive (border-line flame) lines of conversation then by all means, I will participate. If on the other hand you would like new information or to ask new questions, I will respond gladly.
The posts can't readily be put back. I realize now removing them was wrong. I'm sorry. I'm new to EvE and have made no secret of it. I also have cooperated fully with all requests for information. Please at least keep these facts in mind.
