UNIVERSAL FREELANCE does exactly what the name implies:
8 year veteran tired of flying solo but having neither the time or the inclination to make EVE into another full time job is recruiting new members. UNIVERSAL FREELANCE offers:
NO CORP TAXES (or contribution of any kind required) I pay the bills. No API required. I don't care who your alts are, it's not my business. No Mandatory ops. All races, all timezone welcome. No SP requirement, new or old players welcome. Not very active? Nobody is going to boot you for not logging in....you have a life after all. Trial accounts welcome. T1 gear is sometimes available at reduced prices. (mainly ships)
UNIVERSAL FREELANCE is a small but steadily growing band of friends who have mixed interests in the game but for now at least, want to do things THEIR way and fly with friends but without obligation. Members who leave are always welcomed back (If they haven't been a complete *rse).
So if you're playing solo, in between corps, undecided which way you want to go in EVE or just looking for some friendly banter, why not look us up? After all, we're keeping the FREE in Freelance. The worst that can happen is you save a few ISK in taxes.

Come join us and you can get rich running some missions with us. Wormhole space exploration can make you even richer (or dead). We can teach you a thing or two about planetary interaction. And other stuff.
Or we don't have to teach you anything. Do your own thing and keep all your money!

I've been solo corping in Khanid space for a while, currently looking to join a casual group like yours. --- Proud maker of T2 sugar cookies. |

Nice one Tarken....look forward to hearing from you.
Folks as you can see we are growing into a solid, friendly bunch of like minded players. UNIVERSAL FREELANCE doesn't have a leadership hierarchy, doesn't tell you what to do and isn't lining the CEO's pockets with your taxes, 'cos we don't charge any.
Come on in !!!!

As Dave has already pointed out, there's no taxes, no officers, no mandatory ops because most of us are trying to have a RL too.
That doesn't mean we don't do stuff, but all of it is voluntary.
So give it try and you won't regret it.
Raz You should contact Dave Day ingame and he should be able to answer all your questions.

I'm starting Eve back up after several months of being inactive... This Corp sounds exactly like the type of folks I want to play with.
I'm quite new, but if you're willing to talk to me I'd like the opportunity to hang out and see what happens. Thanks!

Monday morning eh? Paid a boat load of ISK in corp taxes and been the only person logged on all weekend? Lined the CEO's pockets with your hard work while he's been watching football on TV? Worse still, spent the weekend in an NPC corp paying taxes for absolutely nothing?
Who you gonna call??

Folks, we're now at around the 20 member mark. Doesn't make us big by any stretch of the imagination but most of us are online daily and we've now got members in the US, Aussie and EU timezones. Members are manufacturing, running missions, exploring WH, doing some PI. We're 8 year vets, week old newbs and everything between learning from each other, doing what we want when we want to and doing it for FREE.
Fancy some?
