One or more items specified in your contract are illegal in certain areas. Your contract may not include any illegal items.
At least the following item is contraband: Standard Exile Booster.
That was just an example, i got this message while trying to put a ship into a courier contract and... i'm impressed... how dumb is this? If someone accept the contract he should be simply warned that an illegal item is there! Why not??
Well, anyway, i respect this game mechanic decision, but........ since the loaded charges are automatically removed from the guns, why can't illegal items be removed too?? There is no way to put a ship into contract if it is loaded with even 1 single illegal item, or even if it is damaged. Meh... we should really be allowed to do thing remotly. It tooks years to introduce the "remote jump clone destruction", everyone can see how better the whole JC system is now.
Give us a better tool to create contracts, with a way to choose every single module to put in it, to repair them and so on.
What do you think?

Chill dude.
Damaged stuff can be put into courier contracts. However, you might want to consider a few things, first of all; I now have one of those annoying sigs. second; you should probably move on to some more interesting things than reading this sig.

I think you should be allowed to contract illegal items on private contracts. I wanted to give a former corp mate some illegal boosters last week and we were a fair number of systems apart, but could not do so. Maybe have a pop-up warning the recipient of pending doom if he accepts said illegal item. I can see sad/hilarious issues with public contracts containing illegal items. And I always get warned about damaged items in public contracts.

Perhaps if your original post hadn't been so poorly written with such dreadful sentence construction, then maybe people wouldn't have gotten the impression that you were unaware of the ability to contract damaged ships.

Would be great, won't happen.
Because as the years roll by, the contract system gets safer and safer. Changing the illegal items rule would break the trend.
...Then when you stopped to think about it. All you really said was Lalala. |

Telling someone what you just said based on them stating their opinion makes you look ignorant and immature. We could also just say that your thread is just a childish whine and unimportant. Who cares.

Please try to understand what you read next time; saying that something should not be allowed in a GAME becouse it is not allowed in real life is just stupid; if you do not agree with this than tell me how can you in real life do all the things you do in eve. (tip: you can't, but you still do them ingame).

Edited by: Fulbert on 05/03/2011 17:41:03 Nobody would ever accept freighter-size contracts if illegal items were allowed in contracts. Imagine : 12000 crappy items, 3 illegal ones, 2bil of collateral, contract voided by custom intervention. Yeah. 2 minutes to get scammed. Cool idea, especially since you cannot check the content of courrier containers before you accept the contract. ____________________________________ Fulbert Industrialist - Casual Trader EVE Online, the best browser MMO of them all |

OP trolling his own thread... Hmm... quality stuff right here. That suggests that it's not worth making a serious reply to the thread as the thread's intent is to pick a fight.
Well, OP, you're a big doo doo head. And to everyone else: you smell like cheese!
