ok iam love eve's back story's i just got all the books form Arek'Jaalan reseach site. i have read the books and all i can say is my god what a story. Paper: Project Trinity
Lead Researcher: Julianus Soter
Contributors: General Stargazer, Moira. Corporation
Summary: Operation Trinity was the in-field reconnaissance operation to gather experimental evidence to prove or deny the Trinity Hypothesis, part of Project Trinity. Conducted inside Class 4 space, the operation utilized military and scientific vessels to investigate Trinary Hub facilities in order to determine whether they held any similarity to the Trinary Data discovered on an abandoned Helios in Class 6 space, suspected to have once belonged to missing astrophysicist Lianda Burreau, the first capsuleer to discover the unknown regions.
A trinary hub was investigated and the Sleeper databanks located at the structure were hacked. Data analyzers were applied to all artifacts and signals captured from the facility were compared with a Jovian Trinary Data fragment acquired from Admiral Ouria's Eidolon battleship. Correlations were collected and indicate possible relationships between Jovian and Sleeper data structures. Additional conclusions may be possible with assistance from Eifyr & Co.
just with that one paper is it showing us Sleepers and Joves are links vs there tec. if thats so then are the sleepers drones made by the jove to hide something we are not to know about? Gven there are sleeper drones in Talocan site are the sleeper drone trying to keep people away from some kind tect the jove dont want falling into our hands. here a big one for me on what kiling the jove. Paper: Huntress Green - Possible disease organisms in Anoikis
Lead Researcher: Gaia Ma'chello
Contributors: James Arget, Tas Caern and Vincent Athena
Summary: Examination of multiple biological samples obtained from planets in the unknown regions has found several organisms that could cause diseases in humans. The most interesting one is a certain fungus found on several temperate worlds.
This fungus appears able to colonize almost any surface or other organism. As it digests another organism, some proteins from that organism are displayed on the surface of the fungal strands. This allows the fungus to evade the immune system of many infected hosts.
Some bacteria were also found that appear to be somewhat infectious. They do not appear to be too virulent, but some of the chemicals they produce are of particular interest. These chemicals have neurological effects that alter the behavior of the host, helping spread the bacteria.
if that dont sound like what killing the jove i dont know what would. If the talocan were at war with the jove and found that and used it as a weapon on the jove then the joves would have to build something like the sleepers to fight the talocans. When the talocans were all dead the sleeper went offline. but the some Drones got lose and found some Sleeper drones and there ai or part of it was down loaded to those drones and that was started the the rouge drones maybe.
i have a idea of whats happen and now whats going on if your into the the back story to eve go to Eram and fly to all the archives to get these free books there a load of info.
Sry for the long read but damn this place fills in alot of blank spot in eve lore. |

I prefer EVE's player-written history, but if you like the official lore I hear the books are fun reads.

For books, see Amazon.
I'd recommend Empyrean age and Templar one. Haven't read the Burning life, but I've heard it's not as good. FuzzWork Enterprises http://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/ Blueprint calculator, invention chance calculator, isk/m3 Ore chart-á and other 'useful' utilities. |

The things in the "arek'jaalan" site, were all written by players, Not sure if that counts as "player-written history", but it's not just something that CCP wrote up with no input from players.
All the lead researchers/contributors are player characters. Who've now become a part of EVE's background, I guess? Ingame objects with player character names on them, humm,.
Other than the moons that were named after the player characters in the Amarr succession championships way back, and the monument that was in Jita (was changed after the incarna "riots") about the riddle competition, is there anything that has player names on it ingame ? |

*edit*
I'm curious, do these authors have any special insight into the EvE Universe? ie, have CCP fed them any sort of story line?
Not so much "special insight into" as "getting to write" the lore. You read "The Burning Life" which is a personal story on a (comparatively) small scale. Empyrean Age and Templar One are both written by Tony Gonzales and follow the four empires (through their leaders) as well as the crew of an individual ship. Gonzales also wrote Theodicy and gave important backstory to Vak'Atioth and the Minmatar uprising long before he wrote any EVE books. |
