I've had several crashes, disconnects and server going offline today. Socket errors, forums not connectable... etc etc? A repeat of the last random disconnect problem where 5000 connections went bye bye... |

The issues are related to third party service problems that are out of CCP's control.
There was a couple of announcements about it. The outages aren't related to Tranquility's performance, the issues are with third party networking between your ISP and the EVE Cluster.
Nothing we can do but be annoyed about it sadly

Seems to be a problem with the internets somewhere in Europe. Same issues have been reported on every MMO forum I've read today and it's always the euros who are suffering from it. |

This exact same issue happened for about 3 hours last week, I personally am not effected right now (UK, VM ISP) but was last week. It wasn't ISP related since it was happening to many people all over the world, whilst many other players weren't affected at all. Guessing it's likely the same problem again, maybe maintenance of some kind is being systematically done, which could explain why different people are being affected each time. |

Hey Warp. Nope not different people. Getting hit again this week like I did last week. Virgin media ISP in the North East. Maybe should open a window and run a patch cable over to the CCP offices across the river and see if that makes a difference. |

Also Global Crossing (GLBX) has issues with peering.
atm I routed all my traffic through NLayer in the US and for the moment that works but it's like an additional 8 hops...
Not to mention adding some 2000ms of lag (but then that's only due to me going around the globe)
