Hello peeps!
I've just logged on for the first time this week and my graphics are all borked. I've got the highest settings ( As allways ) but everything looks like 256 colour scheme. even my Abbadon looks like nothing more than a 3d model with a basic single-tone olive colour over it.
I'm running: HD 5870, Catalyst 11.2 AA: App controled, 2x ingame. AF: 16x All Eve settings on Full
I don't know when it started happening I last logged on 5 days ago. Windows is fullly updated and I've re-installed the client at least once (After trying the repair tool)

Not saying this will cure the problem, but you do realise that LOD turns detail DOWN not up?

Just a small update; Because of a bug in ATI/AMD 11.2 drivers where the GPU gets stuck at 99% load untill a system restart/put in sleep mode, I've rolled back to Catalyst 10.10e drivers to attempt to fix it. I'm still getting the same problems as before in those drivers too.

Sinister: I was under the impression LOD improved the look of things further away, E.G the "low" setting ment than the further something was away from you the worse it would look. However putting it on "high" ment that something further away would look better?
Either way, after disabling it I still get the same graphics. Thanks at least for pointing that out!

I logged on this morning and the sansha station on the login screen actually looks like a station now, together with the advert appearing! However still no luck on the graphics.

On another note, my partner just fully updated his PC with the latest Windows update and isn't having a problem with his. Makes me wonder whats up with mine =( His PC:

Okays probebly the last update.
I rolled back windows to a previous restore point to before the latest batch of updates released on the 9th. Installing them one by one and testing EvE inbetween, they all worked perfectly fine. After that I re-installed my 10.10e CCC Drivers and that worked fine too.
Although I haven't tracked the problem down, both me and my partner still think it was a windows update. Possably a faulty installation ?
Either way, the problem was fixed by a System restart to before the recent 4 windows updates to Win 7 64-bit and a slow testing with each one.
Thank you for your help on this one sinister.
