System very lagging when great number of ships enter to this system and start fighting. I offer to split one big fight to few smaller fights in different systems. How it can be:
1) when station takes damage at the first time a few "navigation satellites" (I don't know how can be named this small structure) created in the next systems. There can't be more then one satellite in one system. Satellites created in random coordinates so nobody knows in what nearby system and what coordinates in will be created. There are from three to six satellites and nobody know how many satellites it was created.
2) Station can take damage only if satellits take damage. There is a limit of damage that station can take. When one of satellites takes damage station can take x0.25 of damage that takes single satellite. If more then one satellits take damage at the same time station can receive up to x6 (all satellites) damage of all satellite's taken damage. If satellite does not receive damage during 10 minutes it wil move to another random coordinates. All satellites have hp limit (x0.5 station's hp for example). Satellites cant be destroyed but if all satellites will take more damage then hp limit and anyone of them will be repaired station will automaticly recive maximal damage. Satellite can be repaired after it takes more damage then hp limit.
This should split one big fight to 4-7 smaller fights and not allow both forces to collect ships in one place.

Or it could turn 1 big fight into 4+ big fights blobbing up.
No, to break the blob you've got to make the rewards of blobbing not worth the hassle of getting everyone together and trying to move together. Ever since the removal of AOE doomsdays and their anti-blob abilities, the game has become more blob-centric. If you want to reduce blobs you have to adjust the cost/reward ratio.

There's nothing in this game that can't be done with a small group of ships that a larger group can't do better.
This is why blobbing is the norm.

That's what I mean. Right now the rewards rise and the costs drop when you blob up. The bigger the blob, the less likely any individual will lose their ship and the more killmails you can get on (or whatever your reward is for the fleet.) If blobbing meant more potential for losses per person, and less ability to complete objectives, people would stop blobbing. If a pilot's thought was "I don't want to blob up with these guys, they'll just get me dead and nothing will get done" the blobs will fade away.
