I am hoping anyone from CCP can link me to a website for the local buses in Reyjkavik? From America searching for websites on google is very hard to find the proper .is websites and in english. I would love to be able to take the bus around you lovely city and would like to find schedules or bus stop routes.

I've lost count of how many times I've been to Reykjavik, and I've never once needed to get on a bus.
Pretty much everything is in reasonable walking distance so long as you're not lazy as hell.

...or if it's 33 degrees outside, and raining.....which it looks like it will be.

Any of you CCPers / Icelandic types know how far the walk is from Fosshotel Baron down to the venue?
Worth catching the bus down from Hlemmur or just a nice short morning walk?

I've happily walked around Reykjavik with the temperatures in the negatives, and a foot of snow on the ground.
It's not as if its difficult to walk in the snow.

Although I'm not an Icelander, it appears to be just under 3km walking. Should be a pretty easy walk.

A friendly word of advice: the wind in Reykjavik can be pretty brutal, so make sure you wear something comfortably wind-proof.

15-20 mins walk depending on how much snow is on the sidewalks. --- GM Zhainius EVE Online Customer Support CCP Games |
