Caldari. Then you can use a nightmare or cnr depending on where you are ratting or missioning.

Until CCP fixes hybrids, there is no reason to train for Gallente.

Hybrid Amarr will require Caldari skills. Achura tech ships are missle boats, you should have alot of the engineering skills for cap stability. Shield is in that group.
The "nerf proof" pilot has skills for all 4 races. Its more about what way around the barn. Gallente have a focus on drones. If you like to rat with drones, that will be a great asset. |

Train Caldari, they have very nice mission/ratting boats like the Raven family and the Tengu. Missisle skills also open up all the nice Khanid ships. Drone boats may be good but they're less useful in WHs and Incursions.
Anyway that's what I did, never regretted it.

Its not CCPs fault if people refuse to let blaster boats close enough to hit them...

If you're a gambling man, hybrids will receive some love sooner or later. If you want to gamble on the summer patch you could train Gallente and potentially be ahead of the fotm curve. Or you could play it safe and go Caldari.

Gallente have been broken for years now, so I would be willing to gamble that they don't get any love any time soon. My character is pure Gallente and I've lost hope of them ever changing anything so now I'm trying to decide if I should cross train Caldari or Amarr.
