im a bit of a npc hunter in my mega, really liking it, making some nice isk, and i started thinking wy not equip my mega with some nice stuff.
im prolly one of the few pilots that hunts in a blasterthron. It works for me. If been hunting a while now finding all sorts of named (hybrid) cannons and launchers, but not one named blaster dropped (L) sized ones.
So i went to emipre to buy 6 modal mega ion particle acc canoncs. Found none, i post on the WTB forum. none. These guns are impossible too find.
I wonder wy, i mean every other gun in the game is for sale somewhere. Even the Neurtron and Electrons versions are easy to find, every solorsystem in empire has a few for sale.
So ccp, and all other players. WY DONT THEY DROP

C'mon people, where are all the people compaining that blastersthrons arent worht it anymore. I mean its easy to find atleast one of any gun out there, 425prots stuff like that, np, sure at a price, but they are for sale.
our neutrons are unusable. so ions are the best a mega can have. if spent 3 weeks in 0.0 and found every hybrid there was. but not one blaster.
i mean, these kind of weapons are the best we can use withouth training 3 months for specilazation.

Do what everyone does and use Modal Mega Electrons.

i have considerd that, but now im interested in some of your expirience.
This is purely for npc.
Eiter i could go 5 modal mega neutreons, or 6 modal mega electrons.
Anyone happen to know wich will give me a better Dot.
It obviouse that the electrons are better for my cap, and my tracking, but i use my main guns only for killing bs's. so tracking is np. Then there is the cap. yes neutrons use more cap, but then again, i only have 5 equiped.
Last option, if none if the above are worth it.I could always invest 2 months of training and buy tech II ions.
so, vote now, A 6 electrons.
B 5 neutrons
C train two months for tech II ions.
plz let me know and gimme your arguments for you choise

afaik those ions havent dropped for ages. or at least not nearly as much as they should.

Yeah I don't know why more people don't complain about this, named large ions as far as i have known DO NOT DROP. why is this? why hasn't this been fixed? |

Yeah, I had set of limited/regulated once, but I never saw any named ions for a year or so.
