This has probably been brought up before but I noticed the Red V Blue corps on forum where they are at war in high sec but aren't suppose to pod. I thought that it would be cool when you declare war that you have an option where you can't pod in high sec. Just thought that you would have more wars in high sec because you wouldn't be as worried about losing your implants. Of course they would have to have it where the pods don't flash red in high sec or leave it up to the pilots to have pods filtered out in high sec.

RvB has a "gentlemen's war" going on with a few extra rules in place to maximize pew pew fun for everyone... that's generally not the point of war.
Podding is (generally) a good way to ensure your enemy can't just show up in with a new ship before the fight is over. Granted if the med clone is 0-n jumps out, that won't work out so hot. Assume 'n' is some number of jumps close enough that the fight hasn't finished and/or the other pilot won't just say '**** it' to flying back.
tl;dr -- no.

That reason actually doesn't exist. Remember, this is highsec, public stations everywhere. You can just set your home station to somewhere local real fast. In a real highsec war (haven't happened in the past few years) that's what happens. Nowdays, it's just the carebears running away from the griefers, so no reason to do that.

No reason to do any of that. If you don't want to pod, don't pod. If the other side wants to pod, you should have no say in their decision. It is a war afterall, so everything goes. You can agree to such limitations, but game mechanics should not be used to enforce it.
There also isn't any need to touch wardecs, since you could easily fix your complaint by just changing the way jump cloning functions, so people could jump between clones within much shorter cooldown period. Basicly treating local jump clone changing more like changing ships, than the current cumbersome 24h cooldown magical teleporting system.
Either way I can't see this being too much of a problem, since you have to **** up pretty badly to get podded in highsec. Just choose in advance a location you can warp to easily and fast in the case your ship is about to be destroyed. If that moment happens, just select that location and spam the warp button until you see your pod flying away safely in the warp tunnel.

We're not really at "war". It's more like we act as one corp that has 2 teams that fight each other. We don't hesitate to pod other war targets, and wouldn't have it any other way. Cheers |

Why in the hell would the people declaring war choose to declare without podding? Isn't the purpose of the war to make it hurt as much as possible? There are a few niche corps like RvB, but they seem to be doing a decent job of policing themselves. For everyone else, this is pointless. -------- Enemy corps raided into disbandment: Three.

If you manage to get podded in high sec (or really low sec for that matter), you're doing it wrong. ___

This.
You can't even really use smartbombs since you might nick a neutral something or other with them, so your pod is even safer in highsec than anywhere else in the game. ...Then when you stopped to think about it. All you really said was Lalala. |

No. The step after that would be microtransactions to CCP for a protection device that stops ppl from killing your ship in hig sec.
if you're so worried about your implants; jump into another clone ffs.
