Edited by: Septu Resheph on 25/03/2011 18:34:20 Problem Want to place more then 7 Warfare links onto a command ship, I don't care which of them it is, I just want it to work. I can fit 7 on I just can't seem to make 8 work.
Solution Go
Note: A Titan is NOT an acceptable solution.

The real problem is you're not using t3's.

If you have a fit then I am all ears but it must run at least 8 warfare links.

You dont need the t2 ACR, a t1 does it just fine. You'll need a CCC though or it isnt capstable with all the links on.
With one officer co-proc it does work with a 5% cpu implant, no idea if thats feasible as I didnt really check the prices on them.

Pick up a cheap officer co-processor and you can get the 8th link on with only a 5% CPU (infinitely cheaper). This is what one of my corpies uses:

Considering that no ship has more than 8 high slots, "at least" is redundant. á How many humans will CONCORD allow Master Kuvakei and his True Slaves to abduct? How many is too many? Too many have already been lost! 40M citizens on countless planets! |

actually t3 can only fit 1 link without command processors.
so on SC you can use 5 links, 6 on tengu.
I think you could squeeze 1 additional link beyond that on some of them, but that requires low rack full of officer co-proc.
5% bonus vs 3% is not that big increase anyway

ehhhh you seem to have some ISK, so you are much better off running 2x t3's, and therefore all 12 possible links
Your gang will be much better for it, the 5% bonus much more significant than the 3% on a CS, not only that but you are running at least 6 of those links bonussed with 2x t3's.
You also get the inherent advantages of t3 ships, ie mobility (for when your gang is roaming), covops cloaking, and unprobeability.
Why anybody would choose a faction/officer fitted command ship is beyond me ^^

command ships have there role as do t3's.. what you are trying to do the post about running 2x t3's is more acceptable. The command ship itself is used for fleet fights more survivability etc.. they are ment to actually go into battle and have a huge buffer tank. t3's are good for sitting at a pos giving bonus's or for small roam's but in fleet fights they usually die very very quickly (usually) But it sucks that t3's give better bonus's than command ships and you can train to fly a t3 "command ship" a hell of alot quicker than an actual command ship. ===========================
