If Sreegs and CCP really do remove most bots it will be interesting to see what happens to rent fees.
Don't be naive, they will not remove bots, just change the way they operate and make more money for those writing the code and updating with each patch.
The game mechanics actually have to be designed to make it harder for a set of instructions to be repeated over and over successfully. In other words, lose all belts. Make the belts more exploration based, and even then mix it up and add more random variations. place empty asteroids in the field, and rats that are utterly useless with no bounties , they don't attack but are placed as dummy objects. A bot will not be able to differentiate between a real rat and a dummy rat
the asteroids should ALL be renamed to "asteroid" NO veldspar, NO scordite. Once you select an asteroid you SCAN it's composition to determine if the ore is valuable and a roid can contain MULTIPLE ores in different order each time you scan.
Just throwing out a few ideas.

You might as well beef up your PVP numbers and take their space. You'll be doing the same thing no matter what. That's why I left that whole thing alone some time ago. It's a sov competition game all its own. CCP might as well release a console game like Dust 514 just for sov conquering.
Actually, renters are usually not expected to come to CTAs because they are largely seen as useless carebears though they are not turned away if they do show up. If the landlords do get conquered, the new landlords usually convo individual corps about "staying in your space" with a new list of prices. There is no reason to look for new renters to pay bills when you can just recycle the old ones.

Obvious, I think you should read CCP Greyscale's latest fail blog before you try to move into 0.0. It might save you a whole lot of ISK and tears at a later stage.

I already said i read it, and it doesn't matter, we could make the isk the old way just belt ratting if we had to, everyone acts like no one was in 0.0 before anoms were worth a damn, we were, and we were ratting in belts too, OMG NO!!!! BELT RATTING!!!
I don't care about that, we want 0.0 space to exploit, how we will pay for it is our issue, how crappy the space is, is our issue, the fact is, we want 0.0 in a nice cozy huge alliance's back yard where the logistics already exist, and local markets can **** our wallets with glee..
So back to the topic yet again, we are looking for space to rent in 0.0, anyone know of any large alliances renting space get ahold of me.

I don't get it. I live in ****-quality 0.0 myself, but why are people wetting their pants over this? Did you not play EVE a few years ago before any of those bogus anom crap went live?
Protip: 0.0 was better back then

Originally by: Zirise TEST is always looking for renters. The new anomalies have Fountain looking like pure-gold ratting-wise, so you should have no trouble keeping up with the ISK.
Drop me a line in-game if you're interested.
WARNING
Only talk to a TEST officer about renting. I don't know if this person is or not. Anybody other than an officer offering rent is scamming.

Yes we are too weak to take over space, no we are not a huge corp so joining a current alliance would be hard if not impossible. We are but lowly carebears who would like to rent 0.0 space to use.
Look up Krutoj.
He runs one of the largest group of renters in Eve, and he runs them fairly, and its done efficiently. He also happens to have one of the more stable rental areas to pick from.

CCP is making it so sov is worthless unless you happen to be sucking them off so they can cheat for you. Don't bother renting. Hell, it's probably not worth keeping your sub up, unless you really like playing "highsec online."

Because obviously bringing in more people, more combat and more systems to fight over than ever before equals killing 0.0. ---

I think CCP probably has the stats, not you. It's clear there's too much carebearing going on in 0.0 at the moment.

It's either carebear in 0.0 where it can incite PVP, or carebear in highsec where nothing ever happens. CCP is choosing boring over interesting. More importantly, they are choosing to lock most of their players out of the end game of EVE.
