Ignore the hate and whine CCP, this is quite possibly the best thing you guys could have done in 0.0
Other forums have been more accepting on the issue and welcome the changes, I for one think this is quite possibly the best change suggested.
So when will it happen?
PS. Looks like NC taking over CSM didnt really benefit the coalition HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
On a side note I linked this on WOW and other games and about 500k people said they are going to come play only because of this change.

if i understand the changes correctly ( http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=883 ) they are planning to basically make -0.2 to 0.0 worthless for individuals. which is the majority of null. to the point that most players would be better off grinding missions...
1. alliance/corp earning potential is already tiered due to the quality of moons in respect to sec rating. so all this would do is nerf the individuals' earning potential.
2. anything less than 10m/hr would make most players go back to hisec. who would think it worth while to situate themselves in a location that has constant threats and CTA's and very little earning potential? PVP is great, but you have to have the income to support it. what new alliance would even bother moving to null in this case? will they say "we're going to kill our members' earnings and increase losses and operation costs dramatically to say we live in null!!!11!" they may be interested in the moons, but its gonna be hard to keep the members out there and active when they only have the same earning potential as if they were grinding level 3 missions.... I think point 3 on the blog will be a vast failure in this case.
3. what would be the point of upgrading these systems if the upgrades still wont get good anoms/sites ? more low-earning sites doesn't equal win, esp for the multi-billions it costs a month.
all in all i agree that the difference between 0.0 and -1.0 should scale more. but you're going the wrong direction with it. make -1.0 goldmines and 0.0 still capable of 10M/hour (anything less will result in players being better off grinding in hisec) i would say the simple answer there is to make faction/officer ships and drops more frequent in lower security systems. so 0.0-0.2 would have the same anoms, maybe fewer of the high end ones, but zero officers comming by. 0.95+ would have several (10+) officers per day.

This is operating on a completely fallacious assumption: people play for isk. This isnt RL. We don't have to put food in our mouths and shelter over our heads. Most everyone in 0.0 is there for the pvp.
Making the bulk of 0.0 less lucrative means those in poor space with a desire to claim better space will go for it. It means the alliance in good space will need to keep a close eye on anyone nearby in crap space (INCLUDING THEIR ALLIES). This is GOOOD.
Moon goo is a seperate issue, I personally hope it's nerfed significantly, but you cannot under-estimate the amount of isk flowing into alliances right now due to mass anom farming, botting, rmt, and related issues with the status quo. CCP is beginning to adress these issues in the face of MASSIVE qq from the NC muppets. Kudoz to them for standing up to the most petulant self-serving egomaniacs since Molle.

right, this is why low-sec is so popular.
