Still waiting.........

So lets get this straight CCP your sole existents relys on anywhere from 10 - 15k physical players playing at any one time.
Battlfield Games Communities die pritty quick careful who you **** off there are lots of options out there in the world, every day we see thousands of ad's
I hear GuildWars II is around the corner $60.00 one time purchase hundred's of hours of content expansions cost about the same. Key factor no recurring fee's.
I here Star Trek's Giving you a run for your money. Sounds to me like you guys might be closing up shop soon with you bot detector.
Start looking at how many legit players use it vs Isk sellers. Start crunching howmuch money that is as your income. Next look at how the game is designed for you to practically need 2-5 accounts to effectively play. Or find some really nice friends. SO you've built a game where the economy can sky rocket, Ships come from mining but the only real isk is from mission runners.
So Mission Runners, Liquidated Salvage is where isk is seeded into the game spreads out across all of eve market.
It is in-efficent to build almost anything unless you mine for it yourself. So your left with running the same boring missions, or mining from the same belt for decades all so you can do the PvP for 1 sec. Thats alot of time id rather be playing any other game that builds towards something then the same repetition over and over and over again.
Funnest part in Eve thus far.....

Are we playing the same game here? I think there are 60k odd players logged in to EVE and you, logged in to something else. Also, sucks that you don't have any friends, maybe its because you are a whiny bastard.

Again, you seem to be playing a completely different game from the other 60k players I've seen logged in over the weekend. Are you sure you are playing EVE on a PC/Mac and not attempting to play it on a ladybird book? EVE requires....SHOCK HORROR....imagination, something it is very clear you lack. Blame your parents, not CCP.

unless your referring to the Battlefield series of games by EA then id like to make sure...you know that EVE has followed this same general formula for 8 years now and its still growing right? What possible indication could there be that it'll die quick?

Hi, I'm the church lady, lets break this down cause you are obviously special op, and i mean short bus special.
Guild wars - hundreds of hours means 5-10 days max
well thats battlefield new stuff comes out all the time.
STO - no one likes the idea of having to pay to get good ships and uniforms and bridges. Microtransactions and being super easy killed the game.
been playing 6 years now 1 account and still happy. You dont need multiple accounts you need friends.
oh dont mine it and its not inefficient to buy minerals and build stuff.
blaah blaah blahh blah.
WHEN is CCP goign to start posting U mad bro? I want to see CCP post you mad bro.

you really haven't experienced EVE-Online enough to know that most of your information is in-accurate.
There is so much you can do in eve to make isk, you have to use your imagination a little bit, and ask around to see what ppl do to make their isk, plenty of different ways and you'd be supprised more isk is made by PVP then actual mission running. Think of all those T2/Faction/Officer modules you loot from dead players wrecks, as an example, one of those modules could be worth several weeks of mission running in one go!
STO i actually have, and the numbers that people pull of out that game is complete crap! from both sides (ppl saying its dying and ppl saying its got TONS of ppl playing) both are inaccurate and the number of ppl playing STO goes up and down every week, with the last content storyline that lasted 4/5 weeks, more ppl played then at any other time, but now its died off again, and lots of multiple characters on same accounts there also so you cant compared EVE to STO.
All i can say is you either adapt or you quit, its upto you, its how eve is, how it'll always be, its good to be vocal, but do it in a good constructive manor with good points clearly pointing out whats wrong with that particular game mechanic, otherwise you just turn yourself into a joke really

All MMO's have moments where you say 'Why am I playing this game?'. I just came back from a 3 month break and am back in the swing of things ...
EVE is one of the few MMOs where there is consequences for your actions, which is personally why I play it over any other MMO.
Either way, sounds like you should move on to something else if your that mad about it. No1 will stop you dude ... [≡v≡] |

First who ever can't do math take the number of players logged into eve divide by atleast 3 and you get the actual number of players in eve, i have yet to meet one person who dosen't have another eve account or 10 for that matter. Friends in Eve got plenty how you think i started playing the game. The free financing they've given me from mining along thems been great i've sat with 1 guy they had 2 or 3 mining with me in lovely orca fleets and we made a killing. Free ships isk when i needed it. gave them free rare mins by the bucket load after flying in wormholes for months at a time crawling out with my haul. I've done that in highsec, 0.0 and wormhole space fact is i've spent 75% of my time playing in a wormhole with tight little crew racking in isk mining clearing sites, pvping, taking on wormhole 5, and 6 cmbt sites. But it has gotten boring and some ways costly in others, and then i've got school around the corner and a whole host of other crap. Here's a joke i posted "CCP's a Joke" put some little blurrb for the FanBOy's, lovers, haters, and don't give a ****s to read and it's already at 775 hits hmm wonder if i can post recruitment for a BC2 clan i co admin see how many hits that gets....

You and I must play two different versions of eve. I haven't run a mission in over a month and a half, and my wallet is peeking over a billion.
If missions is the only way you make money, no wonder you're board.
Here's the truth...missions are the only 'safe' way to make money. Ganking doesn't happen, and as long as you don't shoot the loot steelers you wont lose your ship.
Try doing something where you actually have to risk something. Then ***** about an income

Missioning is the steadiest and safest way to earn isk. Not by far the most profitable one.
Missioning is like working in real life. Nobody really likes it, everyone more or less has to do it. It will bring the food on the table and some toys, but rarely it's the income of great wealth! The same laws in eve too. So you want muchos iskies without doing anything right?
Also, looking at your statements...do you play at all? In-efficient to build almost anything unless you mine it for yourself....my friend you are doing it wrong. If you REALLY want to to industrial...there is NO WAY you can keep up with the needed minerals by mining them yourself. Unless you're chribba with million alts and big ships!

How can braking the EULA be legit? Using a bot without RMT is legit? Or should be? Nah, there are enough threads about botting, you don¦t need to make another one about it. And you are wrong.

EVE online has nothing to fear from STO and I am happy that CCP has their own vision about the future of this game. You may regard this as a fanboi answer and it is certainly true in a sense because I have been around for 5+ years.
There is risk in creating a console FPS in an already saturated market but the connection with EVE might offer players something that no other FPS has, a real impact on the game universe. A PC version is certainly also coming, it may take a month or a year longer because CCP might strike a more favorable deal with Sony or Microsoft if the game is 'exclusive' for their consoles, but it will most certainly be there.

Even if you have AIDS and are cripple it doesn't mean you are free to use hacks and bots. You might get government hand outs and sponge bathes IRL but this is Eve and you are supposed to roleplay a pod pilot. Don't expect a leg up or an advantage over use normal folk.
