I've played FFXI for almost 4 years now while living on EST and dealing with downtimes during peak US time or updates that took forever to download and god knows what else and didnt complain once. Servers need to be fixed from time to time, new content gets added from time to time. Devs are human, they make mistakes, errors happen, blah blah blah. Take a deep breathe, relax and try to find something to occupy the extra time. I for one am watching Doctor Who (old series eps), while checking for updates on the situation. Remember the recent update where the scheduled downtime was 18 hours and it STILL got extended (even though it was only like 30 mins) This is nothing, the tear harvesting going on is win that's nothing. Earthquake in Japan, Square enix shut down FFXI and FF14 servers for over a week. I understood why and how. But it was amazing to see the amount of QQ and tears over a humanitarian effort.

Get a life and go do something else with your day rather than sit at your computer repeatedly checking Eve client to see if the server is up. What a waste of life. Go embrace life and have a thought for those not as well off as you. I've never seen such a bunch of homo loosers *** about a computer game so bad, it's like its the end of the world. Well it isn't real, about time some of you learnt that.
