Sucks to lose a fight in eve cause you have to work to replace your stuff. Seems to be about five thousand threads about the null nerf (which is a buff depending on how you look at it)
So the question is- would you rather isk be so easy to make that its meaningless?
Or would you rather work for what you have?

much more fun to face risk and earn things than just have them given to you.

You need a balance between the two because if ships are to easy to get you might as well have a ship respawn in the station after it gets blown up but if things are to hard it just makes life difficult for players, imagine having to grind rats or trade for 5 hours to be able to get a fitted T1 cruiser or ceptor it would be awful and people would just stop playing.

Yes, because we needed another thread on this topic.
The nerf isn't about isk. Isk doesn't affect PVP, in fact everything but isk affects PVP. Materials, manpower, etc. Where isk matters is when CCP says "specific friends of ours who have our mushroom-stamp of approval's time and effort matters more than anyone else's." What this means is that there won't be a reduction in materials or manpower for PVP, it means that it's going to end up in the hands of those handful of people who already have as much as it as they could ever dream of. It means those peoples' claim on the best space and moons is going to be incontestable. It means the game is now broken because now the only way to win is to not play.

The few parts that were comprehensible i disagree with Its always about the isk, in some way or fashion. Eve is no more broken then it was before when 0.0 residents had less to farm.
Tl/dr, null sec has more ways to make isk then hisec (and you can make more per hour in null as well) The only thing null is lacking is missions, would those even be "welcome" in null if reallocated there?

ISK doesn't matter (not exactly) because you can't jump into a big pile of isk and fly out in your isk and get your isk blown up, because currency in any economy isn't really real. Currency in any economy is just a measure of the value of what is being produced. You gain currency for effort. What you can spend it on depends on what's available. If there is a surplus in things to buy it on, those things will be cheap regardless of the amount of currency anyone has. If ships are cheap it's because there are too many minerals available and nothing else to use them for. Isk doesn't even come into the picture. The patch is not about how expensive ships are. The patch is about putting more buying power into the hands of a small group of people. The patch is about removing trillions of isk of effort and non-liquid assets (not actual isk) from those who cannot afford the loss, only so the removed value can be given (yes flat out given) to those CCP has chosen, amortized over time. Thus, the "Chosen Ones" will be able to afford more and more super caps (which CCP has indicated at fanfest is perfectly fine) for the same cost (in effort expenditure) that other people spend on drakes.
