Edited by: Dyaven on 03/04/2011 19:01:58 Been playing EVE for a few years now on and off, and after a long break I decided to start playing again. After updating, I log in and start to do my character recustomization, hit "OK" and I'm immediately disconnected. I log in again, to find that my progress was not saved. Figuring I'll just get to it later, I click "No" to the prompt and log in without a portrait. I'm able to contact friends and chat and basically do anything requiring feedback from the server for about 30 seconds, before I lag out for about two minutes before being disconnected. I've tried three times now with the same result. Any idea on what's going on here? |

Network routing problems. It should affect all people on your ISP. Do a traceroute and attach it to a petition so that CCP can try to look at it and attempt to fix it manually. _

I just resubbed yesturday and I didn't have a problem. Wait a day and if you still can't log in then contact a GM.

Thanks, I sent a petition hopefully this gets fixed quickly... This is really strange though because I've played from this location without any issues before. =\

Yesterday I drove down the street and there was no traffic at all. However this morning I drove down the same street and there was a whole bunch of traffic.
This is really strange though, because I've been down this street before without any issues before. =\

if you are having problems staying connected then raise a petition ... the forums are not going to help [well apart from generally]. you will need to provide ccp with traceroute logs to see where your connection goes etc --
