I want to join a corp in 0.0 space, but everyone tells me I have to replace ships and clones a lot so I will need a bunch of isk. I am running missions and making isk now, but don't know how much I will be needing. Can anyone give me an estimate? I fly amarr ships only so harbinger and soon I will fly battleships too.

the billions of isk is only really needed by the guys in charge handling the sov upgrades and the capital logistics and such. As a rank and file member, you just need to do anoms and rat enough to replace your losses that the alliance won't. Ask the alliance what you need.

The space I am considering will not have anomalies after the patch, how can I make enough to fit battleships every day?

Ask your alliance members how. If this is a stealth whine (about a godawful nerf that ****es me off too), this isn't the place for it.

I can't fly stealth ships so i'm not sure what you're talking about. Anyway, I don't know how much battleships cost in 0.0 so just wanted help figuring how much I need to buy a dozen of them or so since that would give me time to make isk for replacements.

The patch is not removing all anomalies, just reducing the quality of anomalies that are available. It really helps if you read the patch notes yourself rather than believing the propaganda you're getting from nullsec care bears.

I entered 0.0 with about 300mil liquid isk, and about half a bil in ships. I barely rat (pve is dull as all-hell), and I'm still going strong. Sure, i'm not flying T3's or capitals, but im easily able to keep myself in BCs, BSs and HACs.
Most of it is down to the group your flying with. Any alliance worth joining will have some form of ship replacement programme for ships lost on alliance buisness, which will keep you in the baseline ships for minimal outlay of your own. A basic hull-reinbursement programme should mean you break even on bc and hac losses, and prob lose ~50mil on a BS loss; while the better alliances will fully reimburse fittings or outright hand you free ships of the ones they most want to see in fleets (I'm talking logistics, DICs and HICs here), which once you count insurance payouts can see you even making a profit on a ship loss.

This is a very good answer.
I moved out to null with about 600m + a few ships and never had any problems keep myself topped up with a bit of belt ratting ( this was before anoms ). The one thing I did find useful was at the beginning when I was losing a lot of BCs it really helped being able to build my own from reprocessed rat loot and hauler spawns, later I was able to sell off the excess BCs and make some extra isk. So consider buying some BPCs off contracts and taking those out.

After only just 4 months in eve I got sick of missions and moved to 0.0 with my drake and about 200 mil in my wallet. I lost my drake on the first day to a red vagabond. First lesson learned and isk lost. Now more then 2 years later I am still going strong I fly a T3 and a carrier and can usually replace anything I lose within a day or a few day's.
Back then we didn't even have anoms spawning in every system and I lived in providence. You can ask almost anyone that has lived there about how it is and most people will tell you that provi is crap space compared to most 0.0.
You don't need a lot of isk to move to 0.0 you just need to work for your isk down there and get into an alliance with a ship replacement program so losing your ship in pvp will not set you back so much. -------------

If you are skilled at picking fights and not losing your ships, and limiting the number of 'suicide/drunk fleets' you attend, you don't need a lot of isk to sustain yourself in nullsec. --- Click here for my high resolution renders. |

LIES!! There are no anomalies in null any longer ... Oh ... nvm ...
Nah, you don't need billions. The big null nerf didn't hit all systems out here (and not all anomalies, only the ones worth doing ), so you'll be making iskies fairly easily. Depending on your alliance/corp/yourself you won't lose to badly either.
Me and myself have a total of 60m iskies between us, but we're purely pvp.

with that kind of mindset you always need at least one more billion and never make it out there.
ships like t1 bcs are pretty cheap once you consider insurance, just a bit of ratting should keep you going for a long time.

Depending on what ships you fly 100-200M is easily enough buffer. Of course more is always handy, but you dont really need more than that.
