Greetings
I'm looking for someone good in pvp to teach me the basics of pvp. I'm going to pvp full time in eve online, but i'm still quite new to the game.
- I can pay per hour, and money is a none issue.
We can negotiate the hourly rate depending on the experience of the pvp pilot in question.
I refuse to join any corp, just looking for experience so i know the basics.
John Cayron Thank you

I'm going to have to point you in the direction of a player called Podcat / Morel Nova who is offering this service at the moment. He is a damn good solo pvp pilot and definitely knows his stuff.
He makes kick ass video's that cost him a fortune in ships and deserves the support.

Not sure about that, but my wallet has exceptional qualities. I think that is the most important factor here. I have contact Morel Nova and agreed on training, will take training from other pilots too.

Morel Nova is a waste of time. When you're done learning nothing of value, contact Private Nuisance. Our PvP lessons are unmatched in quality. Ask around, you'll see. Inappropriate signature. Jericho |

I will teach you everything you need to get started in this post.
Train up Minmatar first off because Minmatar ships are pretty much the only ships you will need for PvP. You want to start your PvP career flying Rifters because lets face it, Rifters rule no matter how much some idiot who does nothing but mine is going to tell me otherwise in a few posts after this one. Rifters are great to start with because they are cheap and great for killing other noobs in cruisers ratting in the low sec belts. Which brings me to the next thing.
Directional Scanner.
Directional Scanner is probably the most important thing when you are roaming solo in your Rifter. You can use it to find and pinpoint targets to kill very quickly. When you get good at it you can find something to kill (if there is something to kill) in less than 20 seconds and know where to find it. You will learn a lot about pvp just roaming solo in a Rifter, the king of low sec.
Your Rifter and YOU.
You want to fit small autocannons on your Rifter because ships give certain bonuses to modules and other stuff so make sure to read what bonuses the ship you're using gives and fit it accordingly. You want to use a Warp Scrambler, Stasis Web, and an Afterburner for the Mid Slots. Autocannons and a small NOS for the High Slots. You always want to fit a Damage Control for one of the low slots. Now you can either use a buffer/resistance tank or an active/resistance tank. Either one is fine. For buffer I think it is either a 200/400 tungsten plate with a resist mod. For Active you need a small armor rep with a resist mod. For rigs you want to use Resist or Damage rigs.
For any other tips you can read some of the bad pirate blogs or pay me isk.
And before I forget another pro tip is to make sure to pod people after they give you a ransom too just to give all the old veterans something to talk about in this forum when they "remember" the good old days.
