I recently reactivated my account. I was offline 2,5 years. I remember when eve forums was so ..mature. Now its exacly the same like wow forums, almost everyone are trolls and whiners ...and if you ask some question all answers you got is "you noob learn how to play" "go back to wow" or some sick joke. When this community changes happened ?
PS. Not a native english speaker.

I agree with you, those forums are full of whiners. Unfortunatly starting a thread to complain about whiners is also kind of a whine and troll.
You got a few solutions to your problem. Either ignore the whiners and annoying trolls, or find a hobby that attract more mature peoples than video games do.

IMO it started about 12-18 months ago. A lot of really good posters burned out and quit posting between Dominion and Tyrannis. I still see some of them in game, but I think most just don't play anymore.

So true and it seems like the stupidity is increasing. It's hard to find an intelligent thread where you can enjoy and learn from the discussion. Just a lot of drive by trolls that are sarcatic, shallow, and selfish.

Just get off the forums, you are here to play the game anyway. The only sections I habitually visit are Assembly Hall and FID, while making some random post in other ones sometimes.

And of course we can't forget the "who would recruit someone called <name here>" which has cropped up more recently. To be honest I tend to avoid writing in the forums these days.

Indeed, the boring, unoriginal 'youtube comments' level of responses are awful and the moderators need to stamp that stuff out as soon as it's posted.
I do take issue with the OP's claim that 'almost everyone' are 'trolls' and that if you ask a question, all you will get are 'troll answers'. I just had a look through the pages on the first page, and most of them are reasonable discussions. Lets not blow things out of proportion.
However: moderators, this is all on you. The perception of these forums is down to you. Do your freaking job for once, please.

I just came back from a year long break, and if I were to compare the general level of the forums then to the level now, it's gotten worse. There was always trolling, rage and all that nonsense, but it just seems alot... easier, more infantile today.
As always though, there is still plenty of good to be found as well. Just ignore the silly trolls and support the classy/skilled trolls ;)

quality post vs troll ratio is the same. it's just that back then we had like... 50k subs.
now there is over 350k.

Worse or not worse, what I wonder is why SHC has always been better than the official forums? Both forums should have roughly the same clientFle? Is it a matter of moderation? In that case the EVE-O forums could be cleaned up with some extra work put into moderation.

Maybe CCP could implement some sort of a time dilation feature to slow down the troll where the forums would slow down by X for every troll greater than one in the thread. If more trolls show up their typing could be slowed down by X+Y factors. It should make the forums more mature that way.

You can't really ask the trolls why they are trolling and get a strait answer. Just like everyone here has to believe that they are so much better then WOW players (which is ridiculousness to the level of hilarity)
TBH I think it has something to do with Goonswarm winning the ethical battle of EVE. Now everyone wants to be a Goontroll on an open forum.
Also, CCP does not enforce the forum rules as they once did...

Look, if you want a trip down memory lane, look at all the whining from the early days over m0o, Taggart Transdimensional and the rest of the classic stuff. Since the game launched, nothing has really changed. Trolls and whiners have always been here, as have exploiters and griefers, who I pretty much classify the same way.
But if you look in places other than GD and CAOD, you'll find a much, much higher signal to noise ratio. Even in GD you'll find enough to redeem the fallen. CAOD is the one hellhole that is beyond salvation. But even it serves a purpose, giving them an outlet so they don't spam up the rest of the forums.

The forums have gone through periods of good and bad, right now, they are particularly bad. If someone posted "my mom died and I am depressed", the response would be "good, the *****!"
it is a real disappointment, I returned last time to eve in large part due to the forums being good and helpful and even compassionate.

Dominion killed a good portion of ccps legacy population. It was that game breaking, it still is for the most part. In that time, CCP seems to be advertising on ever website known to man, and they have replaced the old hardened vets with the guys who got bored after burning crusade.
They are the same because its the same players from wow, migrating to eve, one of the most advertised MMOs out there.
Don't worry though, ever once and a while even a flower will spring up in a pile of ****.

It's funny how almost everyone I come across in-game is really cool and fun to do stuff with, unlike the obnoxious forum dwellers. I guess the whiners are (or were ) holed up in some remote 0.0 system, grinding Sanctums.

The forums do not comprise the entirety of the EVE community, hell they're not even a majority.
There are other forums, blogs, IRC channels, and, ofc, in-game. There are many face to the EVE communty (approx 360k of them) of which those dwelling in the forums is but a tiny part.
If you don't like what the forums have become (I haven't noticed any drastic change tbh) then go find another facet of the community to engage with.
The #tweetfleet is always welcoming new members.

Wow, that a lot of nice answers actually, most of you made me belevie in eve one more time. Its good to see not everyone are like that.. 
Maybe some of you dear players dont see this changes to worst, but for someone like me who had 2,5 year break ...well the first impression is exacly like my first post.
And about tweetfleet ...well im against big social networks, i do not own facebook, twitter or anything like that. I liked battleclinic a lot, not sure how they are right now.

So there's more WoW like threads now than in the past.
That will be most likely the case as a lot of players are tired of WoW and a lot of gamers do have a habit of moving between MMOs. Will be the same for most MMOs.
Would not mind betting that the average age of Eve players has dropped a bit too.
As for maturity, this is a 12+ game and from what I saw from AoC which is an 18+ game this is more mature still. Listening to the chat in AoC was like listening to WoW's trade channel.
