CCP Zirnitra	Posted - 2011.04.13 18:05:00 - [4] I have talked to our QA department about getting a new mirror on Singularity, and they are quite happy with the idea, so hopefully we will be able to provide you with a new mirror sometime in the near future. I cannot say exactly when, as we need to ensure that changing mirrors does not interfere with any ongoing testing. And as a reminder, since this is our primary test server, there may be things on the server, that will NOT be in Tranquility, so just be careful of what you are doing, and ensure that what you test on Singularity is actually the same as on Tranquility :)

Final touches will be put on the mirror today, and hopefully we will be ready to deploy it this afternoon or tomorrow. As mentioned before, this one mirror will include faction ships and ammo, but not modules. With regards to bugs, there is not much we can do to ensure they wont be there. This is our primary public test server, and not a "Alliance Tournament Setup Test server", meaning that this is where the code goes for weeding out bugs. Of course we hope that it will be running smoothly, but unfortunately due to the nature of the server, I cannot promise that it will be smooth sailing until the start of the Tournament. - Zirnitra

The newly applied mirror is from the 11th of this month, so it is correct that it may not be as new as you would like. However, as I have mentioned several times before, Singularity is our main testing server, and not a server set up for you to test ship fittings and setups for the Alliance Tournament. The newly applied mirror is however still about 2 months newer than the old mirror. This server has to fit the needs of our QA department, however, this time around we were able to seed faction ships and ammo to try and help tournament teams do some testing, but the overall purpose of the server is still feature testing for upcoming releases, and as such we cannot make changes for just the Alliance Tournament.

They were supposed to all be seeded, and I did some spot checks when the server first came up, on some of the types and they were indeed seeded, but I can confirm that some were missed. I will make sure the rest of the ships are seeded, although due to the time of day, I cannot say if this will be possible to do today, or if it will have to wait until tomorrow.

I have asked our DBA team to reseed as per the original posts I made in this topic, and hopefully this will get done later today
