I scroll down some more...
a Post with an excell spread sheet claiming that the pilot earns 250m isk an hour...RUNNING MISSIONS! wtf? he says he used one account and use just a tengu....what sort of fit is he using that can move quick enough around a grid and pump out enough DPS to clear L4 low sec missions in 3-8 mins? im gonna guess that its some sort of pimp fit MWD-HAML-uber Passive omni tank tengu?! any one care to elobarate on a possible fit these isk farmers could be using ?
Muchos Thankos,

He's full of crap, leave that discussion to the mission forums.
I think the standard fit is small booster, ab + ab sub. Orbit for tank, pew pew, and tengu wins.

Then probably also add an unrealistic LP/isk ratio, ignoring time it costs to convert LP to isk, ignoring travel time, ignoring that you dont only get the best missions, etc.

Have had a look at that thread with the 245mil isk/hr guy.
His claim depends on getting the mission you want (doable with very high faction standing), mission running in lowsec for moar LP in one of those stations with several q20 agents, extremely fast completion times, and, most importantly, an ...optimistic... lp conversion rate.

His numbers a theoretically possible as caldari citizen said, he does a number of things,
I. Cherry picks all missions, something normal mission runners can't do because most of us don't have 9.9 standing with the faction that he's running for.
II. He runs missions for a good corp and in an exceptional low-sec system. (I know where he missions lol, took me about 10 secs on eve-agents to find it)
III. He uses the best ship in the game for blitzing, with a fit that makes him nigh-unkillable in low-sec. (Unprobeable)
IV. Runs missions for long periods of time and multitasks to reduce time spent on marketing, etc.
Doing the exact same thing he did, I would guesstimate that you could pull in 110-150m isk/hr with reasonable (non-theoretical) behaviors. (as well as nearly perfect skills)
You can hit 70-80m an hour in high-sec with a faction bs though.

.5 system, q18 agent, Machariel, pretty decent skills/implants.
No cherry picking being done, I pass on lowsec missions whenever I can, though.
I make maybe 30-40mil isk/h (the range is much wider, but I'd average it at 30. Midst of Deadspace gives me like 1mil isk/h). That doesn't include LP because I just save up and sell a Navy Mega because.. well because I'm lazy.
I have no idea how people can achieve THAT much better than that without great LP or dual boxing it. Or wizards. Seriously. Teach me your dark mojo.

Edited by: Fulmar Muse on 14/04/2011 16:59:28 i reckon if I wasn't so tired right now.. get 175mil / hr if I busted a nut in faction warfare missions, covert ops tengu pays for itself with 3 or 4 of these runs, which you could do all day if you wanted, that'd be (175mil X 12). Obviously you would have completely lost your mind by this point.
Edit: How do you show formulas again? "Keep on doin what you doin, do it gud.. huuh!"

2k isn't unrealistic, although I have some doubt about his stated 184k lp/hour. time to convert lp to isk: you might have him on that point, but between jumpclones and courier contracts it shouldn't affect it all that much though. travel time: inbetween mission travel time was accounted for, the rest I'd include in converting lp to isk. best missions: did you look at how many he declines? perfectly plausible to get all the "best" missions that way.

Huh!? Faction standing overrides agent standing when declining missions? Or how is that supposed to work?
Low-sec hubs are insanely lucrative though, 3-4x the payout for the same amount of 'work' with very little downtime due to multiple agents.
Militia LP is worth about 2k and pirate closer to 3-4k .. been many years since you could get that from empire corps though, you are lucky to get 1k these days unless you discount time to sell.

Originally by: Jason W0rthing I. Cherry picks all missions, something normal mission runners can't do because most of us don't have 9.9 standing with the faction that he's running for.
You just need faction standing high enough to access the agent. The tricky part is rotating through each faction to avoid tanking your standing with the faction's enemies.
Quote: IV. Runs missions for long periods of time and multitasks to reduce time spent on marketing, etc.
He also uses remote buy/sell orders and Red Frog Freight to transport his goods around to cut down on the overhead time needed to convert lp to isk.
Researching the best lp/isk items in the various lp stores is another important factor.
Creative tactics are another for finishing missions quickly. For example, for the Damsel mission he puts a range rig on his Tengu and blows up the pleasure garden from 125+km out and then warps on top of the can.
Basically the guy has managed to min/max and otherwise optimize mission running into a science. It's bloody impressive.

its eLP/hour. or effective isk from LP.
It is 90-100K lp/hour normally . with 2K isk/LP multiplier so its 184M/hr

There is no way you get 9.9 faction standing without tanking other faction standings.
However people say he can turn down many missions due to his high faction standings, but i am pretty sure turning down missions (well more than once per 4 hour) also decreases faction standing.

Correct, it does decrease faction standing.
0.7426% Mission Completed Materials For War Preparation -0.0112% Mission Declined - Giving Shelter -0.0112% Mission Declined - Surprise Surprise -0.0112% Mission Declined - Marriage -0.0112% Mission Declined - Move The Goods
0.7426 / 0.0112 = 66.3 missions could be declined for the price of a storyline mission.

Pirate LP doesn't make 3-4k... 1500-2500 depending on the item and how long you're willing to wait for it to sell.

Prior to putting faction ships on the market, it was possible to get something a bit above 3k running for Angel Cartel.

So do faction standings set agent quality too? So if he has 9.99 faction, and effectively has 1-2 with the corp, he gets LP and rewards as if he had 9.9?

I think the guy got his numbers mixed up as cashing out FW LP for navy cap boosters gives between 3-4k ISK/LP, depending on whether you go for 800's or 400's heh.
