Greetings fellow pilots
I'm looking to train my self as a maxed out commandship pilot. I would like to know what are the skills i should aim for, please include all needed skills FROM the most important to the less important, so that the most important are in top of the list. If possible please also explane why each skill should be trained. Poster should include skills like cybernetics too, i'm really looking to get the pilot absolutely maxed out to fly commandships. I'm really looking for detailed replies.

Also: The use of this ship is for 2 to 3 person gang. Not huge fleet battles, take this into consideration.

Just train an alt for max leadership skills and throw them in a Unscannable T3 booster. Better bonuses than a Command Ship. This was the skill plan I came up for for mine. If it is for a 2-3 man gang, i would stay away from the gang boosting command ships. The benefit you add will not be worth losing out on 1/2 to 1/3 of the pilots.
This leaves us with a choice between the sleipnir and absolution.
For 3 smaller gangs, the Sleipnir is the way to go.
Battlecruiser 5, Commandships 5.
Shield related skills at 5. Navigation skills at 5.
All support gunnery skills to 5, except controlled bursts. Small / Medium Projectile 5. Small / Medium Autocannon spec 4 (5 is maxed if its worth the 2% to you)

Speaking as someone with the Elite Fleet Coordinator cert - I fully endorse this answer. Go for Field Command, not Fleet Command unless you're going to be boosting at least a full wing. -- Come join the carebear napfest train, everyone is welcome! |

Your post is not very clear on if you are starting from scratch or not, and if money is an issue... also if you want to cut corners with secondary skills or not. I am going to also Assume you are not aiming for Fleet command ships since you are flying in such small gangs. So we are talking about maxxing a Sleipnir and or an Absolution pilot. I think it would be worth going for one and then the other not both at once. Also in choosing between the two i would consider things like will you be running with a gang that is shield or armor based tanks, this would make the choice easy. Eitherway this is what i would do... NOTE: i am not into setting up full skill plans that min max your attributes and consider the amount of remaps you might or might not have. Also this is in my opinion as an experienced small gang command ship pilot, i am sure there are other ways to do this but this is just what i would tell a friend to do.
start with the obvious: Cybernetics 5 - Then inject a full set of +5 implants if you cannot afford this then get the best you can +3/+4
In your post you said list most importent things at the top... the problem is this is EvE and IMHO everything is importent to be a well rounded ( maxxed ) pilot. If you are JUST talking about what fleet/leadership bonuses you can give to your fleet mates then just learn everything in the leadership tree really. But that makes you next to useless and it would be wasting the ship and you are really better off just training for an unscannable T3 buffer ship as mentioned above. But i am going to assume that is not what you are looking for. So i am just going to go through the skill tree's and you can assume they are all importent because depending on the situation you are in well they really are. If i put 5 it should be 5 if i put 4/5 it means exactly that 4 is just fine 5 would be nice and if i put 4 you should only consider 5 if you are absolutley maxed out on less importent things. Also at the end i will put the different tank / gunnery / spaceship command skills.

There is a reason why I don't list out the skills one by one. It's because you need to know what they do in order to be effective. Learn your skills and you become a better pilot. Simply following A - z training plan is BAD.
So for lvl5's: 1. Command ships 2. Tank 3. Cybernetics 4. Small t2 drones 5/6. Damage 5/6. Leadership 7. Small drone support skills
You can train lvl4's up in any order you like of course. .
