I'm fairly new player, started playing eve a couple of months ago. Joined a friend's corp, for evading npc corp tax about a month ago. Corp is pretty small so not much activity there, specially not in the isk raising department. The game is awesome, I've already learned a lot of interesting stuff to do and there are still so many things that i don't know of yet.

Hey TSX
I spent a lot of my early career in losec ratting and i've lost more than my fair share of ships in doing so (30+ losses, 6 of BS class- phoons) like this http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/killmail.php?id=10558969 (yeah failfit i know) Now i'm trying to vindicate my kill board after coming back from a long period of dormancy. any help in funding this would be appreciated.

Im getting ready to start a noob pirate / empire war training corp, to teach noobs how to pvp and generally have fun in eve. I could use some isk to pay for ships for them, and do reimbursements. Thanks! Sad to see you go.

Edited by: Axon Atom on 22/04/2011 07:42:30 Edited by: Axon Atom on 22/04/2011 07:41:53 Hi! I'm just a noob, and don't have much time to play eve. I saw this thread but thought it might be a scam! *I've been scamed out of money in the past lol*
but it seems legit... so um, yeah... isks.
um oh right, I'm a 3d design student at digipen, and I play for inspiration! I like playing eve in my rare offtime to fly around blow guys up! I think ccp deserves my money even if I can't logged on much, so I still pay them every months. : )
so I guess what I'm saying is my skill points advance faster than my wallet, and I find it hard to get into my 1st battleship even 2 years into eve. Even thought I've payed subs this whole time. lol. I love my assault ships. <3
so yeah free isk is good, would make it easier to play, as long as I don't have to send you 1 million isk for it xD
*oh I'm saving my character creation until CQ is out btw. : )

I don't want any ISK for me. If I need ISK, I can generally sc**** enough together to buy a new ship, or the fittings I need, and I can manage a PLEX a month, just about.
So if it is allowed, I'd like to request some help for a friend. Barry Zibnowalski. I've recently got him back into the game after a very long hiatus, and I am trying to get him to stick it out. But seriously, he is God-awful at making money. So I am hoping you'd take pity on him, as I have before and give him a helping hand to get back into the game.
He is not my alt, you are welcome to my limited API if you wish to prove it.
I think you are doing a great thing, the more new players who stick it out in EVE, the better the game will become.
Good luck in life post-EVE.

No idea if I "deserve" it or not but I'm really looking forward to the Captain's Quarters because these Level 2 missions are really, really boring. Looking forward to moving up to a Myrmidon. |

Hi TSX01. I briefly played eve a while back but did not have time in rl to play enough. I missed it though, and now am back. I'm very interested in mining and hope to someday mine in a hulk instead of a frigate :)). I would really need some more isk for that. Any isk you can give me I will put in my hulk savings fund! Thanks and have a good day.

Hello i am Jake and i am a beginner trader. Even though i wouldn't consider my self poor i am still a long long way from what you would call a financial success with a capital of few hundred mil. Any additional isk is much appreciated as it seems to be that the only thing that is limiting me is my small amount of isk that i am operating. I started out with around 20mil and i am loving every second of fighting off market competition, doing my research and trying to keep my sell and buy orders on top. Thanks.

Edited by: Leon Tango on 22/04/2011 08:24:45 Hi TSX01.
I am a proud player of Eve Online and I enjoy this game a lot but I have to choose how to spend my irl time : with my children and my family or playing the game all day long ? I have chosen the first solution, playing eve when my children are asleep. Fact is that I do not have a lot of time to make ISKs then ! These ISKs will simply make me enjoy the game much -not having to rat/mission for money the few hours I play- and will let me roam with friends instead.
Have a nice day dude. :)

Hello, my story is kinda simple... and stupid (on my part) well... first off. I do (did) have isk.. I am the CEO of a small time high sec corporation (of which i am 1 of 2 active members) and am (was) going to set up a high sec POS for us.... but while I was down in jita selling some loot/salvage from my missioning.. I saw someone scamming in jita local (the "send isk to me I send it back triple" scam) anyways. I sometimes give these guys ISK just for the hell of it... for "****s and giggles" just to see what they do... anyways. the 552 million isk I had in my wallet to purchase my corps high sec POS (and to hire someone to come raise our corps standings so we could set it up in high sec) so... when I was giving this guy "1234.56789" isk... I instead of hitting the decimal point hit the "3" button a second time (its right next to the decimal point on my number pad)... so I actually gave this scammer "1234356789" isk... I didnt have that much in my wallet... so it just cleared out all of my 552 million isk and gave it to the guy.... now I have a corp that I am now starting to actively recruit for again... no isk in wallet to pay for corp hangar in our station, no isk for pos, no isk for pos fuel, no isk to hire someone to raise our corp standings to anchor POS... not even the isk to buy myself another ship..... and what really sucks is that the POS was supposed to generate isk to help fund the corp... was supposed to make BPC's of BPO's to sell on open market.. after my estimated 300 mill isk of fuel charge. it would generate 700 million isk selling the BPC's... now I dont have isk. and I no longer have a means of making isk... and a very impatient corp waiting for their CEO to pull it together before they rage-quit my corp.... Sorry for the wall 'o' text. ~CEO of Eternal Mortality AerisGlorus

Hello TX money is crucial and such realizing fact can come through some hard ways... To cut this short. There is something about EvE that makes me come back; Even though I've never really actually fully immersed myself into the game (yet) still a lil' out of the water and out of the blue... I play EvE because I feel the game for it- And I quite enjoy it and I say it teaches more in relation to real life as I know I'm not the only one, but all- learn a lot of things from it and it has taught me a lot to the point on where I am much more confident in work/ethics/business particulars in real-life, learning from EvE has given me confidence. At the moment I am unemployed, and being said money is 'crucial' at times means cutting on any expenses. I am posting because I would like to see if I can afford myself an in-game Plex. And I believe from such donation would ease such pressure a bit- I do enjoy EvE and it has become part of my life, I've started school collaborations because of it and other creative ideas but having (insert delicate subject here) troubles can sometimes cease the only fun I have.
And that's why I have posted here; such donation could really help me. Thx a lot. |

Hey TSX01,
I usually do missions in high sec for income so I can pvp in lowsec / nullsec ...but it's tedious work which I hate to do... Some isk would really help me to more of the pew pew and less of the grind.
Thanks in advance !

Hi!
My problem is I can't really make enough money to sustain my pvp. Whatever money I have goes for a new logistic ship, a new hac or the fitting for those. I mostly belt rat and the income out of that is rather small. I would rather rat less and shoot more and I think that you can understand :\. Lately I've been flying only interceptors as that is the only thing I can afford to lose :(
Thanks!

Started in February 2011 and really enjoying EVE so far. Started missioning to gain ISK for skills and ships. I would like to buy a number of expensive skill books, a Crow and Manticore.
Buying skills, ships and fittings as a new player is really expensive and I also want to PvP later - when I can afford to lose ships. So any help would be appreciated.

Relatively new to the game. Just discovered Red vs Blue and began PvP for the first time. Never had more fun in EVE but ISK is a massive problem for this. These guys are great for flying with and I'd hate to have to drop corp solely because my wallet runs out.

The best way to quit, is to do exactly what you are doing. I wouldn't want to sell of my characters purely because the "what if" factor and I would come back to play again becuase of some new change or whatever happens to this game in the future. Good luck with your quitting.

Hello! Sorry to hear you're leaving the game, but it seems it is due to having great projects so it's a good thing for you, and it's also great to see you got into such a generous mood that you're helping the community while leaving. Concerning myself, I'm not a new player, but I still have my fair bit of fun by doing all sorts of things with the corp I am in since 4 years ago and the small alliance we recently created, and I enjoy my position as a director as it allows me to get in contact with many players of all sorts. I have no particular ISk problems, although I'm not rich by any standard the occasional T2 cruiser to help friends in engagements is still affordable, and I really prefer to fit and use properly a normal ship than wasting money in a gorgeous looking ship which I don't really need and I can't use to its full potential. The money I would like to have are to be added to a ship fund I'm starting to provide fitted ships for alliance's "PVP shy" members and get them into contact with PVP with a reduced percieved risk. I enjoy giving advice and practical help to other players so this would add to my personal involvment and I think would help more people than one. Thanks for reading anyway! Andre Coeurl --- --- ---

Edited by: Doctor Deals on 22/04/2011 09:46:19 I will be using the isk (if you provide it) to support others to run incursions. Incursions are new feature from ccp that encourages random people to assemble for a greater good of the whole. I will be using this isk to buy a logistic ship to repair the people i meet in incursions - furthering encouraging the social aspect of Eve online.

I been play eve online a while now, met lots of folks, love the community. However, I hate miners. If I had 50-200 mil isk, I would suicide gank a random hulk outside jita 4-4 and abandon the wreck so that i can share the loot with all the people undocking jita 4-4.

Actually, you're not!
What makes people enjoy a game is not the accumulation of virtual wealth, but the sense of ACCOMPLISHMENT at achieving some goal (which can be the accumulation of virtual wealth) ON THEIR OWN!
You may think you're helping people, but in reality you're diminishing that sense of accomplishment, and thus you're actually doing the opposite, i.e. make the game boring for people.
The second part is that you'd be helping EVE as such better by letting your wealth and characters simply fade away, not giving them to others. The EVE economy depends on ISK leaving the game. This can be through the purchase of NPC goods, OR, and this is a large part, through players going inactive.
As for the characters, it would also be better for EVE if you didn't transfer them, AND for the people you transfer them to. Getting another players character again takes away that sense of accomplishment, because you didn't get your character up on your own.
You probably had the best intentions, but in reality you're not really helping anyone...

Wow... Everybody? Even the Chinese farmer who's never heard about EVE? Amazing...
You may THINK that ISK makes you happy, but the happiness a big influx of ISK gives you is brief and soon gone. The sense of ACHIEVEMENT at having reached a goal on ones own is much longer lasting.

[90]
Hi there,
tl;dr: Checking out all of Eve Online's possibilities and looking for the things I love about the game is time- and ISK-consuming. I'd greatly enjoy a financial cushion so that trying features, professions, ships, modules and play styles doesn't necessarily result in me starting at square one every few weeks.
My main Contik Ardman is new to New Eden, having entered his first capsule two months ago. I'm still figuring out what I enjoy most in the game and giving pretty much everything a whirl. St Mio's "What to Do" chart is a great help here.
When I started, the tutorials introduced lots of possibilities - I still want to check them all out and started with regular old missions. After playing the first Epic Mission Arc and a couple of dozens of other missions I found the whole experience rather boring and moved on. Warping in, locking, looting and gettin' your reward just to go out and do the exact same thing one hundred times more just didn't seem that compelling.
I started trading next; dusted off the tech 1 hauler that one of the tutorial missions had awarded me and flew around neighboring regions to check out prices - only to realize that I could only afford minimal amounts of most of the good stuff. I picked cheap(er) NPC Trade Goods instead and started shipping Antibiotics, Holo Reels and Soil. I even installed software that filtered the most profitable trade routes from the dozens of manual market scans I was doing along the way. Turned out, however, without some skills I could hardly do anything else but NPC Trade Goods. Broker fees where eating quite a bit of my margin whenever I put up sell orders for regular modules. Plus, my leisure time was and still is limited so my interest in following the whole Trader thing waned considerably. I eventually dropped it.
While flying around "trading" I had seen modules being sold in large quantities. Particualrly ammo which is only natural since you can't shoot stuff without it, and everyone shoots stuff at one time or another ;) So I came up with the crazy idea of producing ammo myself and cleverly decided to go for EMP M rounds. Presumably medium price, medium amount of work and medium amount of time required, also perfectly suited for Minmatar pilots doing level 2 and level 3 missions. Looked like a good deal. I bought minerals, bought an EMP M BPO and built a couple thousand rounds. Naturally, I was missing out on skills so in the end I wasn't quite able to get a return on my investment. Broker fees where still a concern, too, so something had to change. I found a not-quite-full material efficiency research slot in a near low-sec system, let my BPO get to ME 20 and used the following days to train a bit of Industry skill so I'd waste less minerals on the next run.
In the meantime I checked out Planetary Interaction (PI), followed a video tutorial and quickly got a hang of it. My first little colony only produced Bacteria, and not even much of it, but I still liked the idea of leaving the colony alone a checking back once in a while to collect stupid amounts of cash. Yeah. Well. Not so much ;) Over the course of several weeks I trained PI-related skills and eventually managed producing two to three Wetware Mainframes a day within a single solar system. And man, was I proud of that system! Of course, being a noob, the setup was cumbersome and the stupid amounts of cash weren't all that stupid. Checking back daily, moving extractors, checking storage space turned out to be less entertaining that I imagined.
On the plus side, my EMP M BPO was now ready at ME 20, I built a couple thounsand more rounds, carefully picked missioning hubs around my home system and put up new sell orders for my shiny shells. We'll see how that'll turn out ;)
PvP'ing, Salvaging, Hacking, Mining, Wormholes, Stealth Bombing, Blockade Running, I wanna do it all at one point!
I'd greatly appreciate a financial injection!
Con
