The Valklears Chronicle uses the spelling Valklears.
The Military Units page uses the spelling Valkears.

They're referred to as "Valklears" in Theodicy as well, so I would be inclined to go with that spelling.

Edited by: Emperor Cheney on 23/04/2011 23:41:31 Intriguing! What can we learn from this??
It appears that the "Valklear" have, for military purposes, dropped the "L."
What does this tell us? In United States military terminology associated with the firing of artillery, "drop el" is a phrase used to signify "depress the cannon tube." But what else uses artillery? Of course, the Minmatar military.
But that is not all! The "drop el" can also refer to a plumbing feature. Behold: http://www.homeownershub.com/maintenance/Shower-plumbing-install-347910-.htm
So what do the game designers intend to communicate to us? Stay tuned, and in coming posts I will educate as to what we can divine from these simple clues.

What you small minded naysayers need to understand is that there is a grand plan in this game, and through analyzing what may be percieved by some as "typos" and coincidence will in fact yield great information through strategic use of google, wikipedia and insane assumptions.
For instance:
Minmatar includes the word "mat," paralleling with eerie similitude the history of the Minmatar as being held in social position underneath the Amarr. But "mat" is in the middle of Minmatar, showing it as their recent past. Some would look to "ar" as their present, or even future. More interestingly, we should look to the start of the word for unique insight into the orgin of the Minmatar, and indeed the history of New Eden. Min.
Quote: Min is an Ancient Egyptian god whose cult originated in predynastic times (4th millennium BC).[1] He was represented in many different forms, but was often represented in male human form, shown with an erect ***** which he holds in his left hand and an upheld right arm holding a flail. As Khem or Min, he was the god of reproduction; as Khnum, he was the creator of all things, "the maker of gods and men".
I rest my case.
I'm sure some agree with my flawlessly researched suppositions, as well.

Valklears. Any other spelling would be a typo.
