My main has been a pirate since late 2006. I've ****d, pillaged, and plundered my bloody heart out for years... and my 1 year old industrial alt is now what I play 90% of the time.
Building, researching, running a POS, Farmville (oops, I mean PI) are fun. Maybe it's because they're so new to me, or maybe it's because i'm always hard pressed to find gudfites these days on my main... anyone else feel like a closet carebear?

Yeah, pvpers who run industry are Industrialists. PVE'ers who whine about pvpers are carebears.
There's no such thing as overkill, only degrees of effectiveness. |

Thats the nice thing about eve, and why im hooked
You can do whatever the **** you want to do , at any moment.
"i feel like killing" --> undock, kill or get killed "i feel like building" ---> go wild..
you can do it at the same time even..
Atm, having 3 alts icemining there little harts out.. and one *me* , cloaked.. hoping some guy gets careless and im there to grab him

Yea, I've recently set up a WH operation on my alt doing the whole POS thing and building stuff plus the PI. It's kinda interesting to do something else besides pew pew all the time and everyone needs ISKies. It's also nice to be able to make all my own mods, which seems to make losses not hurt so much.
On the plus side I'm now training my industrialist to pew pew, because having a high sec static opens up some opportunities to kill stuff.

Haters gunna hate, huh?
Yeah, I used to be one of you aswell. I completely understand the whole "that stuff is boring, this game is about SPACESHIPS!" However, it's definitely not boring to manage my little empire (located in lowsec btw, come find me if you dare) of sorts. I'm also providing a huge boost to the local economy through my production ventures. Chances are pretty good some of you are flying around in minmatar ships I built .
I'm moving into a wormhole today in order to branch out into bigger and better things, but don't worry, i'm going to make sure that my lowsec hubs are well stocked before I leave.

anyone who thinks pvp exists in high sec is a very very delusional closeted carebear.
Not that they would every admit it.
But the rage yo get from accusing them is priceless. far better than ganking industry ppl.

I think it's hilarious that people get so caught up on labels, both in Eve and in real life. Like at least one reply above, in Eve I do what I want, when I want. I don't give a **** what category fellow Eve players decide I fit in. At the end of the day, the carebears, the "pirates", the scammers, the PVPers, PVE'ers, miners, the noobs, and the grizzled vets are all in the same category together... Nerds. 99.999% of the world agrees, so you might as well get on board with reality.

I don't really feel carebear, although I have been doing more carebear activities than ever. Now I find having higher sec status it easier to convince myself to run around low sec (**** scouting) and talk smack. Ideally the turkey shoot should turn into a surprise goose nest upon my arrival
Is that closet carebear?

I would like to admit:
I am a closet. I have hangers, clothes, and boxes inside of me. I've always wanted to share these things with others, but until now, I never had the courage.

I'm totally out of the closet...I'm a big, fat, hairy, cuddly, plush CareBear! (for now anyway...though I suspect that'll always be a part of my Eve gaming experience...it's relaxing to not always be pumped full of PVP generated adrenaline).

Now when everyone else is coming outta the closet...
I'm actually not a Ukrainian hottie who kills zombies and makes out with Bruce Willis in space.
In reality I'm a Nigerian fat man, and I sit in the Internet Cafe 12 hours every day. I make a living out of carebearing and selling that ISK for dollars to lazy Americans. When I don't make money off ISK, I write emails to Europeans, telling them that I am the son of a ruthless military dictator and I must flee the country and I give endless riches to any European who helps me. Just like I do in Eve.
I have a lot of money. So much that I have a TWO-STOREY mud hut.
