Hi Just returning after a long break and FW sounds interesting ... but I also wanted to play in 0.0 space as well. Can you do both ? Particularly, I wanted to do FW missions ; Does that mean I can only join a FW corps ? Maybe some have affiliations with 0.0 ... not sure it works that way ! Any suggestions appreciated.

Could try putting an alt in FW, although I personally feel like folks that participate in FW just to run FW missions are lame. Makes it tougher for those of us that live it 100% of the time to make isk in a market saturated with mission-runner goods. If you're in null-sec, you should have better money-makers available to you.

To get the FW missions, you either have to be in the specific empire's militia corporation (which precludes that character from being in any other player corporation), or the character's corporation has to be in FW (which precludes that corporation from being in an alliance, since alliances are not allowed to enroll in FW); so yeah, the restrictions are as you imagine. Some alliances may have affiliated/allied corporations (not a member of the alliance so the corporation is free to enroll in FW), and that might get you in 0.0 as a blue of the sov holding alliance. But for a single character, it is a choice of one or the other.

Some FW corps have casual, non-sov holding, and generally antagonistic activities in nullsec. There's nothing stopping a group of FW players from roaming null, and many do. But as far as playing sov games while doing FW - as the posters above say, that is impossible.
