They will offer merc services, and then take your money, and block you.

Is that Stew890's new corp/scam/tired ploy? ugh that guy is a train wreck with a hundred failed scams behind him and so utterly predictable.

Are you kidding? I enjoy Stew's return to this forum. He usually gets a few good tears, not to mention you generally get the whole plotline (complete with threats to hunt him down/hire mercs). He's not the best criminal out there (for sheer isk), but he does generally get lots of pilots who have been scammed coming on here and throwing monkey poo at him.
But as a general stew scam, this is pretty meh. Usually he goes into more detail, by going into corps, moving up in ranks and then scamming them.

Meh, really it's always the same with him and usually he gives his confession halfway through the scam since it's the reveal that he's after. the Isk, what little scam wise there usually is; is just enough to survive on until he tries the same tactic over again. unfortunately for him he only thus far has about at 55-60% success rate which includes the premature reveals.

Edited by: Alex Vaille on 04/05/2011 17:13:51 Agreed Camron,
I guess Stew's premature scamming 'revelations' (rhymes with you-know-what) shows that he can't keep it in until the 'climax' of the entire scam .
But I still enjoy the tears he normally elicits, even if they are low-grade tears.

What amazes me is even though his employment record is a mile long and shorn with closed corps he manages to continue using stew890. I know he has a pack of alts but he often still uses stew890 and people are unaware it's all a scam.

In his defence, it was for a very low amount of money. TBH, I don't even consider this scam much of a loss because the amount was so small, I earned it back in like 15 minutes.
I didn't post here to get him flamed. Just so that users can google search his name and find something.

Edited by: Alex Vaille on 08/05/2011 17:38:43 Edited by: Alex Vaille on 08/05/2011 17:38:05 He has done this before, but never this elaborate.
Also, because he did a formal wts on the character forum, he has to adhere to some very strict rules from CCP in which using the forum and the buy and sell for scamming purposes is subject to banning.
His correct posting on the character forum is (had to do some searching for it, as the link on his bio is wrong): http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1507132&page=1#10
Time will tell if this is indeed old stew or new stew.

I'm Still betting that he sold Stew890 to his alt in an elaborate but futile effort to thwart his own past. Karma is cruel to those that deserve it. Signature image is too big. Spitfire

Well, that may be, and if he is, he is certainly playing with fire, as CCP's character selling rules and regulations is one of the few places in the game mechanics where scamming is taboo.
Keep us all posted....I would still like to see the tears he generates, but if he is now gone, I will have to look for the next overly-anxious 'I'm-gonna-spend-2-months-scamming-for-little-isk-and-generating-max-grief-decs' kinda pilot.
I think I have lots of potential candidates in these forums .

LOL He isn't gone. Even if he did sell stew He still has all his alts not to mention the new slot he'd have opened up. He can't stop he's addicted to the premature explosions. Signature image is too big. Spitfire
