Why do grav sites in WH spawn with the exact same configurations of asteroids and amounts every time? Rather than have a bunch of asteroids that have exactly a nice round number of units like 100000 couldn't you mix up a more random number of units per asteroid, number of asteroids, and mix in some amounts of the 5% and 10% bonus yield rocks? It would feel a lot more dynamic than seeing exactly the same mix of base asteroids in the same amounts every time. And you could still have it all add up to the same total yield.

Who designed the mineral makeup of the Noctis, did they deliberately make it need way more Nocxium than most other ships, or was this just a fortuitous accident.

Eve is, at its core, a turn-based RPG which is dependent on the interplay between a large number of different stats and a players ability to use them to their advantage.
Given that we can easily establish these basic stats are important, why have the dev team and CCP as a whole shown themselves to be so disinterested in actually tackling the issues of game balance including but not limited to a failure to reply to the playerbase on these issues, and even some public quotes that the dev team don't feel that it's important?

1. What is your attitude towards underpowered ships that nobody flies, or at least nobody flies the way they're intended to be flown (using a Destroyer for salvaving is not the intended use for a combat ship)? How much effort are you expending on looking into and buffing underpowered ships so that all ships will be viable and sensible choices to fly, relative to their monetary cost?
2. What are you going to do to make mining more interactive and less bot-friendly?
3. Do you think that there are currently enough non-voice communications options for fleet members, so that they can report back to the fleet/squad commander in various ways? Everyone talking on voice is messy, and some players are somewhat or fully speech impeded.
4. Is exploration for grav/mag/ladar sites currently broken (early May 2011), or is it working as intended?
5. Do you plan to do anything about corporate membership applications? Every other month or so, I get an automated EVEmail telling me that a complete stranger, who has never made any kind of effort to communicate with me, has applied to join my corp. Why the **** would I accept such an application? Applications should require the applicant to fill out a form explaining various things about himself, including where he heard about or found the corp, and a "tell a little about yourself" text box that must be written in.

Would it ever be possible to put multiple of the same type of science and industry jobs in at one time? This is assuming all the normal prerequisites are met, necessary skills, items, job slot availability. I have assumed that this would be technically difficult due to differences in item characteristics, ME, PE, etc. but what if the items are all identical?
It would drastically reduce the amount of clicking I have to do to invent and build t2 drones, for example, if I could select 5 identical drone blueprint copies, click invent and select a lab that has 5 open invent slots (with the needed inventing datacores and other items in that lab), instead of having to right click each for invention separately.
Could this be possible?

Will we ever see on eve a "LLFCP" aka Lego Like Fleet Combat Plataform. Where a fleet of players can dock up into one bigger ship using smaller role specific ships.
One is the skeleton of it and the only able to move it and the target of the docking ones (need skills for that) other(s) are(is) the gunner(s) others the sensors/targeting and finally another is the cargo or whatever u think about.
That could mix up many roles even indies to join a fleet that gets a bit more power than regular fleet. "i know, i shouldn't have watched power rangers on my kid days but, there is it"
Will we ever see on EVE some Camera drones? recheable through skills so we can stop putting poor corp newbies sitting on wormholes or gates watching if there is an activation? <---very boring for a newbie that needs action to keep his charisma up and buy months and montsh of gameplay!! new skill, Sentinel drones, higher the skill higher the distance they see or zoom. nasty!!
these are wishes more than questions itself but i've seen so many stupid ones that one more wont hurt. Bullseye! |

Once Incarna roles around, will there be a way to bypass the whole thing and just use the current UI. So I won't have to play with my avatar to enter my ship, undock, etc. I heard somewhere that we will be forced to muddle through all that. In which case I probably will quit playing.

Why is there no ability to search/filter the Science and Industry Blueprint tabs?
To reiterate the much asked, when are POSs going to get a second look?
What is CCPs view of the large rift between the 0.0 power blocs, and the high/low sec (100 - 200 man) alliances? Are large numbers CCPs desired way to gain upward mobility?
Are there any inklings of more world building being introduced into the game, such as modular star bases, gun emplacements, gate defenses, system fighter bays? I don't want to rely too heavily on AI, but the lack of real system defense seems a bit unrealistic.
Any plans to introduce more NPC interaction? If we POD pilots are the elites of New Eden, where are all the other ships, the common man's trade routes, the commercial transit system?
Is the centralization of the market in Jita, Dodixie, Amarr, and Rens something CCP views as an issue?

Will wormholes receive further iteration, and what will that involve?
Are there plans to implement more space, or more wormhole/similar environments? Space should not be this busy!
When will the spaceships from the design competitions make it into the game?
Will we see a much needed, renewed focus on the spaceship side of eve post Incarna? And will Incarna at least offer *some* iteration on or new ship related gameplay/space related stuff?

Obviously I doubt anything like this will accompany Incarna's release but my question is this "Is Incarna-combat currently in the development plan, or even currently planned for development at all?" Any details available would be excellent.
There was a reference to future Incarna-combat by one of the devs on a fanfest vid, I've simply wondered if it was actually in current consideration.

Most of my game-related questions have already been asked by other bittervets, so I'm going to put forward something different.
Consider this post by CCP Navigator in 2009:

And yet 2 years on, CAOD is still a world leader in uncontrolled ****posting and general ***gotry, to the point where I gave up reporting posts on a regular basis several months ago.
So, to CCP: what are your plans for actually properly addressing this issue?
On a related note, out of curiosity: how many posts have I reported on this account, how many resulted in moderator action for what percentage of success, and how do I rate compared to other hall monitors out there?

1) Why are there no tracers when sentry drones fire on all the other drones and all turreted weapons?
2) Will missiles ever fire from a port, bay, or spot on the ship like turrets do? (instead of just coming out of the middle of the ship)
3) Will we ever be able to have our ship dock like we normally do with a station but instead with a capital ship/Titan?
4) Will you guys over at CCP ever have a big fleet battle with us? :P

Ok, I'll bite....
While I can pretty much apply this to every update since Apocrypha, I'll use the Planetary Interaction expansion as my example as I was most intimately involved in that one.
Just to recap, you spent some 6 to 8 months developing PI, only to have it fail so hard upon release that you then had to devote another iteration and 8 months in order to (kind of) fix it.
My question is this:
At what point during its development did you realise that you had failed; was it while reading the mountain of threads on the forum telling you it failed BEFORE the initial release, or was it while reading the mountain of threads on the forums telling you it failed AFTER the initial release?

3) Jove - I've been teased with jove ships and Jove space since I started playing this game.... when? Follow up: Is the offering or suggesting that Jove ships to the player community considered an inside joke at CCP? Just curious you don't have to answer that
4) Are there any plans for a cyno or jump bridge nerf?
5) Are there any plans to allow capuleers to "civilize" wormhole space and start setting up private gate networks?
6) Has CCP given any more thought to the concept of hive ships ( a'la this thread ) and if so what are those thoughts?

How does CCP devs feel about Falcons? i personally feel this game would be much better without it, its ability to just uncloak 100km from a fight and lock down several ships permanently is ridiculous.

I would like to put forward a way to cut down on the ganking. I would like to putfourth the idea of a concord fine ontop of the sec hit. for example a crew hits the bagger two. carrying say 200 mill in cargo (jita value not minral baced). and he tanked so well that had to use two ships to pop him. eatch of the two attackers take the sec hit that is already there. but ontop of this thay also get fined buy concord the value of the load pluss the inshurance value on the ship. and if thay do not have that amount in there wallet there corp absourbs the remainder of the fine.
please note this does not intrefear with there "right to gank". and does not cancel out anny of the currant game meck. but it does give the "care bears" a bit more of a reason not to cry foule. yet it does make ganking a more refined art for the crews.

6. Will you implement rentable lab slots in POSses in high-sec? That is, slots that can be rented by strangers? What about production slots?
7. Are you pleased with the current war declaration mechanics, including the ability of large corps with hundreds of members being cheaply able to harrass small carebear corps with a handful of members? Or are you going to do something to re-balance things, e.g. make it more expensive for a large corp to war dec a small corp?
8. Is the bounty system working as intended? Am I actually inflicting real (albeit delayed) pain on an enemy of mine by adding to his bounty tally? (Hint: No!)
9. Will you introduce modules or rigs to expand alternative storage bays, e.g. to give a capacity bonus to the Orca's ore bay?
10. Will you introduce new bays for ships that don't already have them, e.g. charge/ammo bays for "combat" type T2 ships such as Assault Frigates and HACs? A charge bay for Exhumers to carry mining crystals would also be mice, and of course both Exhumers and Mining Barges really should have ore bays.
11. The new module stacking is nice and easy to use (I know the official jargon is not "stacking" but I've forgotten what it is - sorry) and easier on your server, but when all my 6 or 7 missiles are combined into a single visible game object, it's much less visually impressive. Is it possible that you can modify the game so that each such object uses a graphic that looks like 3 to 7 missiles (depending on how many there are in the cluster) visually, even though in game-mechanica terms, and server object terms, it still behaves as a single object? Beam weapons look awesome, and we missile users are envious. I want to look awesome when I unleash a missile volley!
12. Why is there no in-game indicator when a player character has been invited to an event via the EVE Gate Calender function? A lot of players don't even know EVE Gate *exists*.
13. This is not actually a question. I just want to say thank you for all the improvements you've made recently, and for some of the upcoming stuff you've announced, such as the font change!
