Edited by: cyndrogen on 14/05/2011 18:37:33 I'm not sure where to post this but I have some questions about sleepers.
Since sleepers use advanced AI, which ones cannot be soloed in a tengu. Are there any intel reports on sleeper salvage/loot. I just started hunting them and while they are not too tough I suspect that it's because I'm in a lower class wormhole.
Also, somewhat related I would appreciate any fitting advice for solo WH ops. I'm only interested in hunting down sleepers, do I need scan probes at all? Is it possible to scan down sites without probes? (Too risky to scan down wormhole in highsec, then refit without probes?)
The stealth + probe fit nerfs my DPS significantly on a tengu with a covert sub system.
Thanks in advance for constructive suggestions!

there may be certain types of sites in a C3 that you can eek by though. but definately not the mags/radars

Which sleeper ships can warp scramble? Frigates only or all ships? Last night I did not get scrambled once but those little fockers fly fast compared to my nerfed tengu with an AB.
Oh yeah mags/radar are out of the question I don't even have code breakers or analyzers fit on my ship so no point. I only scan down easy 100% sites, and I'm wondering if they can be scanned down even without probes?

I think you should read one of the many wormhole guides out there before taking your shiny toy into one.

Has anyone compiled a list of sleeper loot/salvage for different ships?

Edited by: cyndrogen on 14/05/2011 20:54:22 ok what I have found so far in Wspace by killing frigate and cruiser size sleepers.
1. neural network 2. sleeper data library
I did not have a salvager due to further nerfing my ship high slots.
I wish you could refit a t3 ship without a station.

yeah you're probably right, but my salvage skills are not yet at 5. premature, I just wanted to see what it was like going up against sleepers in a t3, my FIRST experience actually killing the ships.
me <--- sleeper noob, in case you missed the post earlier.

If you really want to get a lot of isk out of a hole then you have to do the following: Find a sexy empty C3 wormhole. Set up a disposable POS (just a point to refit and stay there)
Then you need at least 2 Accounts. 1. for shooting 2. for scanning and salvaging (noctis ftw)
higher then C3.. you can forget it on your own. C3s a pretty easy to kill alone.

yeah you're probably right, but my salvage skills are not yet at 5.
You could probably setup a T3 to salvage on the fly with a second account, or follow up afterwards in a Noctis (I hear they blow up real pretty when solo) or use a cheaper / disposable dessy with salvage rigs. That way you shouldn't need salvage V.
//EDIT: For that matter, I may be wrong, but I don't think you need salvage V to salvage frig/cruiser wrecks. Think it's for BS hulls only and without salvage rigs.

Edited by: holding pattern58 on 15/05/2011 03:23:52 Use Wormhole space reports for quick lookups on any of the wormhole sites by class. Will also show you the triggers and which ones will use ewar/neuts.
Very handy to bookmark with the in game browser.
