Hey,
I have found that recently I am spending a lot of time on Sisi as I enjoy its risk free PvP and I am having fun improving my PvP loadouts. The two things that I always see killing the most and having the biggest battles are the Dreads and Carriers and I would love to be able fly one to add some more variety to my PvP.
So my question is, what ship is better: a Dread or Carrier ( keep in mind this is in Sisi I will be using the ship mostly ) I fly amarr so it would be between the Revelation and Archon. Also in Sisi I usually fight BS's and bigger the majority of the time.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This has to be a troll. You're going to be ****d by supers over and over. You either go to the Caps beacon and get ****d by supers, or go to the BS and smaller ones and get ****d in the name of policing Sisi. |

Wasn't a useless reply, it was a truthful one. If you don't like the answers, don't ask. You WILL get face****ed by supers all day long
I don't want to be human! I want to see gamma rays! I want to hear X-rays! I want to smell dark matter! Do you see the absurdity of what I am? I'm a machine! And I can know much more. |

I wasn't insulting him, sorry if it sounded if I was, I just read it in the wrong light and didn't see what he was saying. That aside, when I play on Sisi I usually only run into a supercap 1/10 times I am on as it seems the group that always fly the supercaps and gang up on everything seem to be in a different time-zone to me thankfully :)
Also, seeing as its the test server I dont mind losing fights, seeing as I can simply refit a ship if it dies, and I enjoy losing a fight then coming back with a better fit and take my revenge ):)
So, if you have any more opinions or advice please give it under the impression that I am definatly going to train for a dread or carrier, this would help alot in making a choice ( if I do ) Thanks.

Edited by: Daneel Trevize on 16/05/2011 21:04:57 Training for a ship in Sisi different to what you can fly on TQ is a bit... special for 2 reasons:
1) You can gain 2mil SP every Mass Test you help in. They're fairly frequent afaik.
2) Mirrors will reset your Sisi training to your TQ training, and then restore the last 3 MT's worth of SP (assuming you were in any of the last 3 MTs before the mirror)
Apart from that, if you don't get someone to agree to a 1v1, just expect those supers, and don't think you'll ever get revenge unless they hop out to something smaller.
IIRC carriers/triage require Logistics 5, and everyone loves a Logi5 pilot, especially a Guardian, everywhere. |

Train for a Titan, so you have a chance to kill all the ****ing supers on sisi.

Thanks for the info and I plan to use the SP from the mass tests to get the ship, I will probably just train a month or two on traq for that ship so that the 6mil SP points can allow me to get it each mirror. Also I will most likely train for a Dread, 80 days of the skills are the same as the carrier anyways so I can change my mind later if needs be

By the time you're done, supers might be nerfed so that dreads are desirable again. I think everyone else would say get a carrier/stay sub-cap/BS. Don't fly what you can't afford to lose, repeatedly.
I don't know why you think flying a dread would add variety. Do you know how they're used, and how Siege works? |

I know the role of a Dread and I think I will enjoy it, also the point of me training this for use in Sisi is so that I can work out how to use it best for if I ever purchase one in traq. And yes I know how siege works :)
