An idea that when you change your ship a large door would close in front of the viewing of the ship with a 30 second timer in the middle realistically matching your session change timer, the doors would begin opening at 25 seconds and the ship would be undockable at 30 not changing game mechanics.

Umm....
You can undock with a session change timer in effect. You just cannot change ships or join fleets or other such nonsense that involves session timers. --------------------------------------------- I am a big fan of knowing what you are talking about prior to making asinine suggestions or comments. |

lol I want you to dock, and then try undocking and count the seconds it takes for the bar to load.
Edit: Oh you're from goonswarm, I should've known that was a troll.

It doesn't take any longer than a normal undock as far as I can tell.

Try again.
1. Undock just after having changed ship. 2. Undock without the session change timer. 3. ??? 4. Profit.

I just did this 20 times each way. It averaged between 12 and 24 seconds on every single undock. Sometimes it would be faster with no session timer, sometimes it would be faster with session timer.
I will admit that my fastest undock was without a session timer and my longest was with a session timer, but I do not believe that this constitutes any definitive answer to whether or not you undock faster when you have a session timer.
Here is my list of times for without session timers:
- 12.14
- 19.13
- 20.81
- 12.11
- 18.88
- 13.99
- 16.70
- 13.36
- 16.58
- 13.81
- 15.57
- 15.66
- 13.13
- 16.87
- 13.74
- 14.33
- 20.15
- 17.10
- 18.82
- 20.90
Here is the list for with session timers:
- 17.66
- 23.27
- 16.63
- 24.64
- 15.82
- 18.04
- 24.17
- 18.51
- 22.13
- 24.79
- 18.14
- 24.93
- 21.79
- 15.38
- 15.06
- 21.65
- 21.22
- 20.72
- 22.14
- 20.54
While the average between the two would seem to favor that there is a longer delay when attempting to undock while you have a session timer in effect, the delay is minimal if anything. The average of 16.198 for without session timers in comparison to 20.3615 with session timers does not seem to reflect the 30-second session timer difference between the two. --------------------------------------------- I am a big fan of knowing what you are talking about prior to making asinine suggestions or comments. |

You don't seem to understand that undocking takes session change into account, all 30 seconds of it. Your 'theory' doesn't make a difference because that's how session changes work. If your testing says otherwise then it was faulty as you are clumsy/have failed me for the last time.

You are obviously incorrect, as I have tested it 20 times each way. You don't have numbers to support your claim, so you instead move on to personal attacks. Get a clue, thanks in advance. --------------------------------------------- I am a big fan of knowing what you are talking about prior to making asinine suggestions or comments. |

1st of all google what "in advance" means and second ask yourself why I would thank you for ruining this thread.
It's part of game mechanics and it doesn't mean undocking is instant if you have no session change you still need to load the system in the same way that you do when you activate a gate. The game will load the outside but not let you completely undock unless your session change is 0.

If it were correct, all of my times when undocking while having a session timer in effect would be greater than 30 seconds, since 30 seconds is the length of time a session timer stays in effect.
Again, please learn about game mechanics prior to posting about them. Thanks in advance. --------------------------------------------- I am a big fan of knowing what you are talking about prior to making asinine suggestions or comments. |

You are a moron, and your knowledge of the game mechanics of EVE Online (a Bad Game), is flawed. Please familiarize yourself with the game mechanics you are discussing before posting. Thanks in advance.

I happen to like my mishtar, tyvm. It is quite useful to me in many situations.
Also: You are not arguing with anyone. We are just pointing out that you have some pretty horrible fits to think of yourself as a "leet pvper".
Your killboard shows me nothing besides the fact that you a) don't know how to fit ships, b) don't understand the concept of intelligence in terms of protecting your assets, and c) you only know how to pvp when you have the upper hand. It's quite obvious that on equal terms, your pvp skills are at best sorely lacking.
Also, my pvp skills are pure ****, and yet I still manage to have more kills than deaths. Your argument that your kill/death ratio somehow makes you knowledgeable about game mechanics is thereby nullified, since it would obviously mean that I also know about game mechanics. And since this thread is about either or, but not both, being correct, killboard has zero impact upon the facts.
Again, session timers do not affect undocking. When you get that through your thick skull, perhaps you would like to come lose yet another archon. I can show you where. --------------------------------------------- I am a big fan of knowing what you are talking about prior to making asinine suggestions or comments. |

lol if you're insulting my k/d you must have misread it.
Also I happen to like my sniper apoc and my anti frigate laser phoon. PVPing without the upper hand is suicide, welcome to EVE where intelligence on the situation is what shapes the result of a battle.

I see you fully understand how signature resolution vs signature radius works. Keep up the good works.
Also, what does your killboard have to do with the fact that undocking is not affected by session timers? Oh, that's right nothing.

Your circular logic is circular.
Also, you saying that you are me is just pointing out the fact that you are as bad at Eve Online as I am. You have serious self-esteem issues. Perhaps you should come visit my shrink. Oh wait, you are me, so you are ALREADY seeing this shrink.
Hahaha. You got me. Actually, not really.
