Edited by: Nova Kierra on 20/05/2011 20:26:12 Hello.
I was wondering which implant slot 9 would give me more DPS: 5% Missile Explosion Velocity or 5% Rocket Damage
I also run L4 Missions in Tengu. There obviously the first choice of implant would be better. I thought I'd mention that. But aside from that, which implant would be better for a Hookbill pilot?

I shall assume the Hookbill is for PVP as you failed to state its purpose, and you said you use a Tengu for PVE.
Use a jump clone. Keep one for the Tengu and your nice +4 implants. When you want to pew, switch to the Hookbill clone with cheaper +2s. It also means you can better tailor your implants specifically to each situation, without worrying too much about covering all the bases with the one set of implants. ============= The People's Vivi - the blog of a high-sec carebear with dodgy teeth. ============= |

^this
I mission in high sec so i have a +5 implant clone for normal stuff that flies a machariel and has a full load of 5% hardwirings.
I also have a slave set clone for my armor loki.
And i have a third clone who handles my cheap rifter pvping with little to no implants.

Someone asked a questions and you 2 above didnt even awnswer it, just filled it with stuff about jumpclones ^^
Go for the rocket damage, explosion velocity is nice but its not an essential implant, assumeing you got the relevant skill to 5 and not 1 the extra 5% from the implant wont equate to 1 less volly on the tengu in pve.. so go for the rocket dps..

I'd have thought that by providing the jump clone option, it would clear up any potential "but what about my Tengu..?" possibilities that would have arisen, and thus left the dps increase as the most obvious choice. ============= The People's Vivi - the blog of a high-sec carebear with dodgy teeth. ============= |
