I have found an abandoned Talocan battleship at radar sites in C5 and C6 WH systems. when I tried to open one with the codebreaker I got the invalid target message. I used the codebreaker because I was at a radar site. What is the correct mod for opening an abandoned Talocan battleship? thanks.

Well let's see... it's a ship wreck... Hmm, what do you normally do with ship wrecks? Strip mine them? No no, that seems silly... Maybe an analyzer?...

Read somewhere in this forum some comment from CCP saying that all the stuff available IG was not fully discovered, specially WH stuff. Done a few WH's at my (re) beginning and never saw that stuff. You should return with all the 3 exploration mods and get fast the T2 model in some dedicated ship with rigs and maybe some clone with implants.

CCP Dropbear was busy saying things like this especially around the Sansha live events time and them having a specified w-space system that they were apparently basing themselves out of. People pointed out the iirc Integrated Terminus sites/anoms had always been broken, and BVN found nothing of interest in the named system, then things went quiet and there were more temp bugs when such anoms were removed (the ??? sigs spree). |

There's actually been a LOT of findings in the eve fiction forum. All sorts of popups and things if you know where to look. Not sure where the investigation currently is.

It's currently exactly where it's always been, somewhere between staring into our collective navels and praying for polkadotted rain.
There's nothing to investigate, no leprechauns with pots of ISK at the bottom of the wormhole. God I wish there was. But c'mon, we're talking about supposed super-secret nigh-inaccessible content in a game where it took them two years to get around to fixing rockets.
Everything that can be brute-forced has been brute-forced. Every object has been scanned and interacted with, every module possible has been activated on every object possible, every destructible object has been... you see the problem?
Either there is undiscovered content to do with W-space, or there isn't. If it does exist then CCP hasn't turned it on yet (paraphrase Dropbear "we're waiting for you to do something") if it doesn't... then yay for polkadotted navel rain.

I just revisited the old haunt (Wormhole sikrit topic discussion) found here...The W-Space Scooby Gang
No-ones even investigating any more. Everyone is just cobbling these crummy theories together. I distinctly remember quitting when I saw the words 'perhaps the sleepers are a time-lord type civilisation'.
It's not an investigation, it's not a mystery. It's an exercise in group story telling.

actually, it is not a wreck, it is an abandoned intact hull - but it is ancient, so maybe an analyzer, like for an ancient ruin? http://constdeffund.org/space/C6RadarUnsecuredCoreEmergence.jpg

if it don't works with a module try another one between codebreaker, analyser and salvager that's all...
after maybe the error mssage was saying your skills were not high enough, but i think you're able to read, right ?

Of course it's a salvager you moron. A google search will tell you that. Common sense will tell you that.

True. Tere is not much real investigation going on and most is baseles speculations, but I still think Kaito's work does a very good job at putting the pieces together in a greater perspective.
I am still missing some bits of my own w-space exploration. I just do not have the time for it.

I don't appreciate the moron crack, since common sense would tell anyone that at a radar site you expect to use a codebreaker and you only expect to use a salvager on a wreck, not an intact ship. But I hadn't been able to find a good link, so I DO appreciate those.
