Ok now Guristas jam like nuts and a valid solution is still not in sight why not think about all NPC EWar.
First of all: Change NPC to be vulnerable to ALL forms of EWar. Some changes need to be done here. First give NPC a max lockrange and sensor strengt so damps are usefull finaly. Do NPC still have Infinite Cap? Didn't try to neut/nos them in the last few years.
For ECM as counter to this jaming nightmare: Change NPC Jaming so that it just break a lock. No 20sec. waitung till next lock. So a Sensorbooster with script would be much more viable then eccm (and for most mission ships much more worth then increasing sensor strength fom 9 to 11 )

Supported. The NPCs shouldn't be gods. They should be just as vulnerable as human players, just that they are controlled by a computer instead of an actual person. ____________ ___681473___ ^^My Signature is Better than Yours^^ |

the problem is that a lot of the time, the NPCs outnumber you significantly. what good is damping/Tracking disrupting/jamming 1 NPC battleship when there are lots more still shooting you? ______

See the ECM Change I suggested. Damps already give you time to lock and kill as they are not 100% active all the time. With ECM, 5+ Cruiser will jam you nearly all the time. True. But this is most due to the fact that they have 20sec+ to land a new hit on you. When you will be able to relock imediantly you could work your way through (or at least send your drones on them) when you use a SeBo with script. Even 4 ECCM on a marauder won't change anything in terms of Time you get jammed but with this change just one SeBo will give you the ability to fight back.

I would support that if it was applied to the player ECM mods as well. You're saying that NPCs need to work more like players, and then proposing a change that makes them work differently. ______

Not sure about that one as I have gotten jammed up to 120k out. In "The Assault" I had 6 ships jamming me from over 100k. I was almost completely perma jammmed. |
