All you wicked smart people in S&I I have a question for you:
POS gun range and tracking... Calculated from the gun or the tower? I thought it was tower, but I am paranoid and want to make sure.
Thanks in advance!

Does this apply to things like activation proximity too?

Yes. By the way, with regards to ammo types, damage is affected by ammo type but range is not. Always use the highest damage ammo. ______________________________________________________ PVP is a question that has no one right answer but a lot of wrong ones. - Aelana Anais

As far as I can tell, ammo affects range on lasers and projectiles. I tested it.

Does this mean that Blaster batteries are the most useless pos modules?

Edited by: Gavin DeVries on 28/05/2011 11:26:59 Tau, weren't you the one who tested it and found that it did not? I distinctly recall the thread, just not who the precise poster was who ran the tests with manned guns. ______________________________________________________ PVP is a question that has no one right answer but a lot of wrong ones. - Aelana Anais

Wasn't me, it was Ahro Thariori that stated range wasn't affected.
