I created a petition, and they told me to come here instead.
I have now lost 3 ships due to my own partial stupidity, and the location of the planetmode button on the overview/selected item box.
In heavy fleet engagement, when getting primaried, one chooses a planet or other celestial to align to in preparation for warpout. On the occasion of a planet, one aligns, then moments later it becomes an issue and you hit warp/planetmode. They are seriously 3 pixels apart.
3 ships have exploded while the system lags, bringing up the planetview instead of giving me the chance to click warp.
Now, an ideal world would make planetmode not lag...but lets face it...when you do that it needs to load a few things that aren't already loaded with an engagement. Since that isn't an option:
MOVE THE FRAKING BUTTON AWAY FROM ANYTHING IMPORTANT
When I, or anybody else, engage in planetary interaction...we'll find the tiny button wherever you put it. In fact, I usually find it with the industry window. Please get it off my battle screen. |

Supported. While I would have preferred removing PI completely, this works too.
It's just one of those things, alongside space barbies, that 90% of the player base don't care for. |

Decrease Resolution... so stop playing eve on 10000X 6000 resolution and you wont have those problems.......... or pay more attention?
Or do like the normal people and warp to a command center ..... same as planet ..... :P Offering small loans. Send message for details and arrangements. :)

No, I can really understand this issue. It almost happened to me too. I'm not sure right now without logging in, but doesn#t it even replace the warp to icon's position? Anyway, yes, it should be moved to the far right IMO. Looking for more thoughts? Read my blog or follow me on Twitter. |

There are a number of options that are in "inconvenient" places on those dropdowns. I've gone to do something and suddenly instead something is removed from my overview for example. It's a tough balance, getting the size, functionality and asthetics right... but yeah, maybe group things a little more sensical, make them a little bigger, something. |

Yeah, I second the idea to remove this button from this place. It's really anoying if you miss-click in the heat of the battle. |
