I'm using a domi at the moment for level 4s, but I will move up to a Hyperion and then a Kronos. Should I train Gallente Battleship V, Large Hybrid Turret V or Sentry Drone Interfacing V now? Ps. Approximately 20 days for LHT V and Sentry V 32 days for BS 5

Using a battleship without having trained the T2 variant of its primary weapon system is pointless. If you plan sticking with the domi for a while, get Garde IIs as a priority, if you want to move on to the Mega/Hype soon get T2 blasters ASAP.
Battleship 5 should wait until you basically have the other skills in place to get the most out of the hull. ---------- Who, me? |

You cant go wrong with BS 5. Especially if you ever get a marauder like the Kronos for missioning. Plus the skills required for that ship will benefit you in your other ships and attack power. Its the same if you push for a Tech 3 to get some very good skills trained.

BS 5 is required for a Kronos which he said he wanted to get.

If you're looking to prioritize, I'd look at it as the following:
*If using the Domi for a long, long while, train Sentry V, BS V, LHT V *If going to Hyperion ASAP, Train LHT V, BS V
Tech 2 sentries would be nice, but will you actually get much out of them if you're planning on flying a Kronos in the future? I'd be more interested in getting tech 2 guns and BS V, unless you plan on using the Domi.

BS 5 first.
T2 Guns or Sentries will not add as much damage as that extra effective drone. --

Ehmà
BS 5- 7% increase in (all) drone damage and HP
- 4% more hybrid damage.
Sentry V- 25% increase in sentry drone damage
- 20% increase in sentry drone HP
- 20% increase in sentry drone optimal, falloff and tracking.
The increase from BS IV to BS V only equates to about 1/3d of an extra effective drone. The increase from Sentry IV to Sentry V equates to more than one extra effective drone (and that's before we even look at the other benefits that beyond basic damage output)à
So if it's that extra effective drone he's after, why should he train BS V? ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Domi
Quote: Gallente Battleship Skill Bonus: 5% bonus to Large Hybrid Turret damage and 10% bonus to drone hitpoints and damage per skill level
Hyperion
Quote: Gallente Battleship Skill Bonus: 5% bonus to Large Hybrid Turret damage and 10% bonus to drone hitpoints and damage per skill level
Where in the world did you get your 7% increase in drone damage and 4% more hybrid damage?

Because he said he wants to move up to a Hyperion and then a Kronos. A Hyperion has a 100m3 drone bay and a Kronos has a 125m3 drone bay, no drone bonuses from the ship, and requires BS 5.
BS 5 first unless you plan on staying in a Domi, then train sentry 5 first.

Where in the world did you get your 7% increase in drone damage and 4% more hybrid damage?
From the fact that at lvl IV, you have a +40% / +20% bonus to drones and hybrids. At lvl V, you have a +50% / + 25% bonus.
1.5 / 1.4 = 1.0714 = +7.14% 1.25 / 1.2 = 1.0417 = +4.17%
(And the fact that the Hype doesn't give any drone bonus at all.)
Quote: Because he said he wants to move up to a Hyperion and then a Kronos. A Hyperion has a 100m3 drone bay and a Kronos has a 125m3 drone bay, no drone bonuses from the ship, and requires BS 5.
Even using that logic, it doesn't make sense to train BS V for the drones: Hype can field 4+ Heavies/Sentries; Kronos can only field 3, so you lose one drone.
For L4s, I wouldn't classify the Hype as "a move up" from the Domi, and even the Kronos is iffy ù it's pretty horrid compared to the other marauders. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Poor Gallente Sad but true.
Personally I would recommend an Ishtar for L4s. When I was running missions a lot I could do them faster in that than a Domi. I very rarely used sentries, just replied on T2 heavies and mediums, and the 3 medium blasters with an AB to get in range. Still had 2 highs for a tractor beam and salvager.
