Recent development mean the price of technetium will rise steeply in the near future.

He is a troll but his prediction might come true because of the current situation in the north.

Why would anybody fighting to conquer a rare resource sell it for any less than they could sell it for ? If anything, the new owners should want to sell it for even more, so I fully expect prices to skyrocket, not fall.

That assumes they have any noticeable stockpile of it to begin with, which they probably don't Sure, they may dump a couple of week's worth in a single weekend, and prices will drop in the very short run, but they will most likely recover quite soon afterwards, and then some. Of course, that's just my opinion, and I may very well be wrong. _

Considering I've liquidated the vast majority of my tech quite a while ago and don't plan to hop on it again any time soon, my bias is small enough. _

Pointing out something that will have a major impact on T2 manufacturing makes me a troll. However your illustrious leader and self confessed ignoramus on technetium commenting on the same issue is not.

Hmm, Akita T's Analysis seems to pass the common sense test. I've not heard any reason as to why the DRF or whoever ends up with the NC's Tech moons would do anything different then the NC in regards to price manipulation. This is unfortunate as the Tech bottleneck is a tumor on the Eve economy.

It is the worst case scenario, the region becomes a protracted war zone with neither safely ensconced and producing efficiently.

I agree that a price increase is more likely, at least in the short term. It was just that if multiple alliances take hold of the tech supply then it's very possible that they may lose hold of the monopoly. At least that was my train of thought.

Ever since they changed the default behaviour of the trade interface (remains on "advanced" if set on advanced instead of always opening up as "simple"), a lot of *******s have been accidentally placing sell orders of various items at buy order prices instead of selling directly to existing buy orders. _

Or maybe they where short on it, so they put some up really cheap knowing that a bot would 1 cent them. then bought the stock from the bot and pulled there own sell order before it sold. It has been done many times by big traders. And the players running the bots can't complain about it because using bots is a violation.

No it won't we love the Russians, maybe even more than we *loved* (edited for past tense) the NC.
