CCP STOP F-CKIN ADDING CRAP THAT NO ONE USES, OR CARES ABOUT TO THE GAME, AND DEDICATE 6 MONTHS OR SO FOR BUG KILLING / FIXIN W/E.
STOP ALL THIS **** AND FIX THE ****ING BUGS ALLREADY.
I know there will be monkeys that pop up and say **** like "CCP cant fix bugs if people dont report them" well All I can say about that is "CCP Install the ****ing game on a PC start it up and start playing If you cant find 1 bug in 5min of the start than go ****ing do something else cuz you suck".
I posted this here because I think its a cool Idea to be brought into eve in the future.
Thx.

As hilarious as this rage is, I agree with him. I think that fixing **** is more important than walking in stations.

Im down with adding new features, and fixes are a welcomed thing too.
Maybe its because I have been playing video games for a few decades now, but bugs and glitches come with the territory. Its a part of software. With the immense expanse of coding that a game as old as EVE has, there are bound to be bugs within the millions of lines of code involved with EVE client and server side.
While I agree they should fix bugs, a rant post isnt going to help.
@ GrindAllStar - what do you think are the most important bugs CCP should prioritize first?

Tyme pretty much says how I feel. It even spawns an evil cycle that's happened in hundreds of games before, and will happen to hundreds of games to come.
- Fix a bug, two more bugs show up. - Fix those two bugs, one new one comes up. - Fix the new bug .... and the old bug comes back. - Don't add something new and exciting every few months, and despite how bug free your game is, you lose customer interest. - Don't fix bugs that are prevalent and interfere with gameplay, and despite how many new expansions you have, you lost customer interest. - Don't add something OR fix bugs every few months, and call yourself SOE. - Try doing both at the same time, and STILL hear complaints ... but at least people are playing.

ya, I'm a network administrator in training, and as such I deal with ridiculously buggy software that will die with no explanation all the time. I just got used to accepting the problems and live with it. I remember hearing someone whining about a bug they were having and I thought it was just a standard game feature that was there due to limitations in the code.
also, they need to move switch the location of the report and the reply button, I keep clicking the report button on posts I want to reply to.

You do realize that some bugs requires ripping the game apart to fix and the thing is while they're in there with it all torn apart might as well spruce it up, like they just did to the UI interface recently. Pre-order your Sisters of ≡v≡ Exploration ship today, Updated 3APR11

Well with the new patches we got a bug that when you try to click something its automatically trying to target. It doesn't always happen but when it does its had potential to really fekup a fleet fight or get you concorded...
Thats the new thing. For the old stuff I don't even know where to begin...
Point is they add tons of **** to the game that increases "bug attack" opportunities instead of sitting back a lil and watch the big picture.
I get how they try to keep interest by adding new stuff... who knows maybe they aim for some second life player with the **** in stations thing, I get all that, but if they wanna evolve at least they should do a bug hunt / fix op after every patch when they redirect man power to answer petitions and reports / forum posts... See if something if foked fix it move on.
That doesn't happen, not on a real level to matter anyway.

Thats the new targeting key. Whatever your clicked on if u press control itll target it. You no longer have to hold cntrl and click something. You can unselect that as a hotkey in the Hotkey portion of the Esc menu.

I donno what ya seen but its a bug, sometimes its click -> target / sometimes it doesn't.
Yes I know pressing control and click something targets but if it was some kind of new mechanic to simulate pressing control it would of worked all the time not just some time.
Pressing Ctrl + click still works when that bug / w/e doesn't.

Such posts like above are stupid rage posts. If you don't know how bug's be "implemented" then stfu.
to 1st .. why aren't you posting bugs here if they are so official and easy to find ? 2nd Adding game content is another department so why should the department of adding stuff looking for bugs they don't know how to find.
I don't know how to read such stupid blame posts.
@ CCP please continue the good work.

Edited by: Dariel Ash on 06/06/2011 13:19:30 Dear CCP, when we can finally walk in stations please allow us to hit OPs like this with bottles.
Then, and only then, will it all be worthwhile.
Edit; I fail at speeling.

its not a bug, they turned all the shortcuts into stickykeys if you hold them longer than 1 second
if you hold down ctrl for 1 second and let go, anything you click will get locked if you hold down shift and let go, you will "look at" anything you click also if you double click anything on your overview, you will approach it
and its ret@rded, i bet people are getting killed because of this

If it's not a bug, why is it being fixed in the patch tomorrow?
