Why is it that for so many lvl3 missions im not allowed to use my Curse? I can use almost everything else, from HAC to a shuttle.
And yes, i do know that a Curse aint the best missionrunner boat.

Now that's just wrong ... both in trying to take a Curse into a mission to begin with and then also them denying admittance for your stupidity. I say ... let a fool take a Recon into a mission and die. Eden is becoming too friendly to new Capsuleers and ruining the lawls.

You forgot the other part of the name. Combat RECON. Recon means scout. IE not meant for extend combat by itself.

I've used a Force Recon Cruiser on quite a few different level 3 Cosmos missions, along with other ships.
There is no set specific type of mission ship or specific way to play this game. I applaud the OP for not following the masses. Dare to be different, be bold, be brave, be all that you can be.
Would be boring if everyone was flying Drakes and played this game exactly the same way.

In order to get around always having to use the same type of ships as everyone else, I flew the ships of the race whose space I was in. That meant Hurricanes when I was trying to get to Minmatar Epic, Drakes (my caracel burst into little bits) for caldari and my usual harbinger / Abaddon for amarr (since I am of the Blessed people)
having that variety saved my interest in the game so many times ^^

Actually, you could passive tank a Curse pretty well.
If you have dual small faction or cheap deadspace boosters and a shield booster and proper hardeners, you could active tank it pretty well, too.
It'd be halfway decent for L2 missions.
I've blitzed L2 missions for research in a dual SAR II permarepping Sentry Arbitrator. lol.
