Instead of talking sh*t like some clueless little f*ckwit, why don't you try it? Then you can come back to this thread and apologise for being such a ret@rd.

I know a guy who has about 16b liquid isk. He was complaining a couple months ago about having to buy an assault frigate for a fleet. He generally flies T1 frigates, cruisers or BC's. Is always the first one to any wrecks, and always has a salvager on his ship no matter what it is.
He worries about running out of isk so he never spends any. http://www.themittani.com Bringing balance to the world of Eve news |

I used to have isk, then I found Blink....
08/10/2012 - 09/10/2012 Deposits To Blink 126,776,018,133 Received From Blink 90,910,440,000 Total -35,865,578,133
Most of the 90 went back in so pretty much I'm now sitting on 5 faction fitted ships (Navy Scorpion, Rattlesnake, Mackinaw, Orca and a Tengu) and about 160M liquid. I can make about 50M/hour doing level 4s and another 25M/hour mining on a second account so it will only take me 512 hours to recover what I lost in a month....

Maybe both.
my record is 37b in 20 minuts, was kinda funny
when you have your first 20b you feel rich, when you reach your first 100b you just think thats only a 100b. When you reach your first 200b you think your cool and awesome but after a week you start to think thats its still just a bit of isk...
the point is that the more you get the more your want
Greed is the mother of all evil
Play this game to make isk only and you start yourselve subcontionaly learning to be greedy. Eventualy this affects your rl. This game thought me to not to be greedy and enjoy life. Do good, recieve good! I gues its has something involving cultural differances aswell, materialism seems to be a hot topic to brainwash mass consumers to boost up economical growth and such... say whatever you want, give it a thought reall good and keep the eyes open.
If you have 4,5T your getting bored and you buy crazy stuff like full faction/officer smartbombing phanters, fund corp faction roals for giggles, supers for lols and donate billions of isk to people that rly deserve it. That are good of heart and still have the passion you once had for this game..... |

I will never be rich.. I spend what I have and thoroughly enjoy the game. I don't see the point of having a fat wallet but the "game" becomes another job where you feel you have to put in as many hours as possible. I do have lots of assets though as I get bored flying the same ships for too long. |

I have no desire for spacebucks. I've got no isk to speak of in my wallet but I have all the ships that I want to fly and I am in a great alliance where I can put them to good use. I've got nothing to worry about and can keep up my favorite playstile indefinately. So I guess I really am rich as in having a great eve experience. |

Value of total assets is the only real way to measure wealth. There are individual players out there with 5-15 trillion worth. Most of them belonging to the class of undeserving wealthy who got lucky due to T2 BPOs. |

Since RMT via PLEX was introduced, the real rich is how much isk you can make ingame without PLEXing and how fast you make that isk. The really and truly wealthy players are few and typically have around 50B-200B with a few over that amount (talking liquid isk here)
The players that have around a trillion are not the players that have that much in their wallets routinely, but can manage that much if needed for a big bpo purchase for instance.
There really are no quick isk for large sums in EVE, but the players that can make huge amounts through industry take a long time and several characters trained to a pretty significant degree to complete such jobs, and this takes time and real life skill and patience. Building up huge amounts of isk in eve takes lots of time except for very few smart traders in rare instances where patches are deployed with indy changes that CCP does a **** job of rolling in and announcing ahead of time. |

It's a respectable amount, but really it isn't very much in EVE. I'm a little less than that myself, but have probably had more than 12 times that at one time.
That was awhile ago, and I've pretty much spent it all on BPOs, PLEX, and stupid wasteful things along with losing nearly half of it to 'Margin Trading Scam' and supposedly viable money making opportunities that never paid off.
You wouldn't believe, (or maybe you would), how really worthless Tech II small rigs are. You couldn't sell them for much more than a million ISK in most cases. I suppose that should be expected, but I didn't think of it at the time: there are Tech II Hulls right? Poor logic apparently.
..anyway, yeah, no it's not a lot, but like I said, it is respectable. I have deleted and cleared my signature 7 times and it still won't go away. |

Blissfully ignorant. You luck lucky person.
Personally, because of my rather sketchy playstyle, and my ablity to either die, or kill people who like to deny killmails by self-distructing, I find the best method for measuring my richness is TGBU unit.
That's 'Times Getting Blown Up'. So for example, I can afford about 50 TGBU's flying my current flavour of ship before having to worry about isk. I'm pretty happy about that. |

I have over 10 billion in assets and consider myself a small player in the trading scene. I'll probably consider myself a major player when I have at least 100 billion in inventory on the market (or, alternately, extended as loans to other players). The super rich have assets in the trillions. |

i dont consider myself "rich", i generally keep several hundred mil in my wallet. i do keep several "Forward Operating Bases", fully equipped hangars with mods for racial fittings for missions, ammo, booster charges, and usually a few ships for missioning. i found one the other day id completely forgotten about.....but if i started losing or having to replace ships id feel it, and some of my corp mates have replaced T3 ships MANY times. so rich? no. kill em all. |

There was a lvl 1 or 2 mission long time ago that dropped like 20 mil in loot from a structure before it was nerfed. So you could just fly to some agent, decline missions until you get that one or you burn the agent and then just go to another agent, repeat. That was like 200 mil/hour lol. |
