if i were to say blow up a control tower, and unanchor a lab, will all the contents be destroyed??? i've done it once and it says this is the case however when i repackaged a lab, it actually spit out some blueprints.

Yes, either unanchor the labs and get the lab value, or if you suspect the contains might be worth more than the lab blow it up and hope it drops.

the problem is i destroyed a tower and unanchored several labs and when i repackaged them i got some bpos...was that just a bug or does that work for all of them or are all contents destroyed after unanchoring?

If you unanchor a POS structure, everything in it is supposed to be lost.
However, I recall reading a thread a long time ago about someone who couldn't change the laser crystals in a laser battery and had to file a petition. The GM ended up removing a noobship, complete with 1 unit of trit, from the laser battery
I would not be suprised if other such bugs still exist in the POS code.

yes thats a know and old bug.. at somepoint they have tryed to fix it but they have failed
there is smal change for some blueprints when repacking a lab, more change to get blueprints when popping them though, it yust risky as labs are worth some isk aswel
afaik other posmods dont have this bug and give nothinh when repacked . ______________________________________________
