Carriers warfare The problem is the bombers, not the carrier, without bombers itÆs a useless ship We need new fighter to deal with them and new orders, like ôhunt bombersö etc. I propose two types; one is fighter interceptor, short range like the bombers and the other, fighter space superiority, long range like the old fighter. This fighter are designed to destroy fighter bombers and other fighter If they canÆt safely deploy bombers you solve the problem.
This is the basic idea

remove fighter bombers let sc's have more fighters then max currently this fixed the fb problem, and makes the what was worthless sc powerful without breaking it this also means dreads would return as the anti cap ship, the rightful place.

Actually I love this idea. A Fighter-Interceptor. Who's sole purpose is destroying fighter-bombers. And can't target anything else. (Because if it could it would either be crazy overpowered against sub-caps. Or completely worthless at killing fighter-bombers. eg. Too much tracking, or too little.)
Still it would take a while to balance. But I like it.

as cool as it sounds i dont see the practicality of it, that renders your carriers to the sole purpose of killing SC bombers.

more fighter its more lag and dread its antistructure no anti capital

Still it would take a while to balance. But I like it.
this is the idea, now you cant shot a lot of staff with your drones the new figter cant shot other ships

No killing disable, as a support ship you still have the RR role, clean the space it just another one

in a normal blob SC batlle you have 20 -50 SC this is 400 - 1000 FB, this is a log rat day :)if you espec to kill that

I really like this idea. good idea to only let carriers be able to fit three wings with one type. (that is, they can't carry 15 of each) I kind of like this, however, how do we make these interceptor fighters not being able to solo pwn each and every sub cruiser hull on the field?

It is fairly common for SC pilots to disconnect and wait out the 15 minute log off timer while the enemy ches through 30-40 million EHP. I agian would have little problem with this if the ship didn't disappear at the end of the 15 minute tiemr while it was under fire.
The problem is a combination of log off mechanics and EHP, not fighter bombers.
I still like the idea though.
