Is the test server down?
I'm having problems connecting, it says incompatable version and for some reason next to server it says 'tranquility'.
I have them both installed in different directories. I reinstalled the full sing test client today and its still saying 'tranquility' 'incompatable version' with the incarna splash screen.
can anyone help pleases?

Did you make a shortcut for the test client eve.exe file?
You need to do that, then right-click and go to "properties". Click on the "shortcut" tab and then in the "target" line add the phrase " /server:singularity" (without the quotation marks).
This should point the test server client to the singularity server.
If that's not the solution, then i'm not sure what's causing the problem.

Perfect fix, thank you very much. Just right click normal eve.exe then create shortcut, go into properties and do as advised by the other guy, either that or do it to the eve.exe/safemode.
Hope this works, enjoy regards hellswarlock.

No worries hell, pleasure to help!
Jarull, are you putting a space between the original target path and the "/server:singularity" part? There should be a space between those two parts. As an example, the target path should look similar to this:
"E:\Games\EVE Singularity\eve.exe" /server:singularity
This is my target path because i copy my EVE folder into a folder called Games on my E: drive - it's just a personal thing. Yours may look more like this:
"C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE Test\eve.exe" /server:singularity
Either way, note the space between the last quotation mark and the /. If that isn't the problem, then perhaps you were deleting the quotation marks? Don't delete the quotation marks that are already in the target line for you. If they aren't there anymore, put them back in just like the line above.
