According to my kb stats I was active over a year ago (Which is not accurate, more like almost 2 years now.. so whats the current FoTM on PvP and what ships and combos to avoid? And whats going on with political landscape?
Is CCP still being total ****heads and promising more than they can deliver?

So nothing new under the sun? How about FW? Lowsec pirating? Still being 20 people trying to get one person to be killed? Anything truly new and refreshing happening? How about WH space?

At the moment Autocannons reign supreme as far as PVP, with lasers a close second, and hybrids a very distant 3rd. faction ships have also gotten quite popular(drameil, cynabal, bhaalgorn, and if you watched AT9 vindicator). As always ccp deliver decent expansions followed by waves of bitter vet threads. the more things change the more they stay the same.

Minmatar are overpowered.
Anything which uses hybrids sucks.
PI involves a lot of clicking, but there used to be 5 times more.
Sansha Kuvakei will vanquish your fears and commute your flesh to dust. Except not in trade hubs.
Dust 514 is PS3 exclusive, and dusties can shoot back.
New sov system coming later this year, I think.
Soon, there will be monocles.
That's some of the major stuff covered in the last year.

@OP That excellence that CCP was talking about last summer didn't really make it. There is more dev blogs and the occasional dev on the forums now, but they still lack the constant effort that's needed to baby-sit their devblog threads and the test-server forums.

bugs, even more bugs.
CCP still keeps on broking working features, ignoring reports about this, and never ever fixing little things, which are a lot more important for the player, than Yet Another Broken Expansion.
So most of the things you're used to won't work, a few new features are added at a half-polished state, but they don't have time to finish features, becuase you have to walk in stations for the sales' good.

So it seems.. what bugs me mostly is that people from BoB broke up and ended up each others throats and FINFL actually backstabbed their old friends.
In EVE there is truly no friends or allys, just people to be used when needed, eh?
