ok back to the topic : only issue i get is warp effect not showing (hum removed?)
setup Phenom II x6 1035T 2ghz 8gig ram GeForce GTX 460 FTW (for the win edition heavy overclock) but i doubt it come from my setup.
otherwise good job on that one, stable and smooth (i reckon low end comp will have problems since i run a midrange setup)

I am unsure weather you no that there is no sound from the mining lasers only when you start a new cycle. this is with missle lauchers for drake has no sound thanks and my captains qaurters has a black dot all over it can this be sorted plz i love playing eve but i cant keep playing it if it becomes more graphic oriented also is there an option not to have incarna active because before i installed incarna it was running perfect now im lucky to be able to leave system with out crashing.this is bad i tried to leave ststem in orca with full load of minerals i got to the gate it crashed then it tells me that my systems drivers are not upto date when there are i reatarted \ reboot and docked back in the station i was in i cant even leave the sysmtem. this is unfair and not on to all the people what could play before incarna was installed who have been playing for while and had no need to upgrade comp until this patch came out or should i say upgrade. can you plz help the older people of the game so we can continue playing. this is depressing i cant play my favorite game both of my accounts are paid up to date and still cant use them is there any sort of refund for this i cant play the game.ill just cancel subscription if there is no way round it i beleive i would not be the only to quit because of this patch\upgrade all the people want is a game that plays well its not asking alot im sure.

dunno if this been reported yet..
seems when you get jammed by a npc even after killing it the jamming warning still comes back and stays.

That is not necessarily true.
I see warp tunnels sometimes and sometimes not. I have no idea what causes that graphical effect to appear and disappear as this bug takes place in different systems and with different ship types.
My OS is patched and graphics drivers are up-to-date. CQ is running surprisingly well (15FPS in-station; 60-ish FPS in-space) on this hardware with all settings turned all the way down.

Was creating contracts for several items. There seem to be multiple in this batch which give me
"Failed to create the contract because one or more items have been changed from the time you selected them.
Please close the wizard and try again."

still having issues with an entirely black screen when in space when shader quality is set to high. ati 5970, core i5, 8 GB ram. i KNOW my system can handle this game maxed out on settings. wth?

I have an issue, With the lack of information regarding the changes to unprobeable ships.
All it says is they aren't any more, there is no description as to what physically has changed, what effects it actually has on a unprobeable ship, for example a unprobeable t3, (gank link or low/null sec mission runner doesn't matter) Obviously the ship is probeable now, but does it mean it can be found like any other random ship? or with the mods does it make it exceedingly difficult to find unless you have maxed skills/ship/mods/implants???
And for gods sake be more clear about it than the dev post and the useless GM that just said "We are unable to disclose the mechanics behind this game design change as it has not been released publicly." because it was frankly unhelpful and pointless. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Ahhh, a new menuitem: To Hangar and refine.
Please tell me who came up with someting as stupid as this ?
Intelligent programming would have been to make a menuitem: Move all to hangar. And this should be WITHOUT having to right-click, SELECT ALL first.
Please STOP the click-sink and make USER FRIENDLY SOFTWARE.

I am also getting these graphical lines using a Nvidia 260GTX and also on all different parts of the hud.
Nvidia 260GTX all latest driver and DirectX, windows vista 64bit.
Also the X and Minimise buttons on windows are randomly dissapearing I have to drag the window to make them re-appear.
Also the targeting and focusing on random ships has come back with Incarna, its not as bad as last time but it is definatly there.

It has been reported earlier on page 14 already, but I'd like to confirm that as a director I cannot right click a member from the corp chat and edit their titles/roles. There is no error message, simply nothing happens. Other corp directors are reporting the same issue. |

same here... i play this game since 2006 and i really like this game, and i pay for this game... i am paying for 2 accounts btw... BUT i am NOT going to upgrade my computer for this game. guess it comes to an end

The little icon of tractor beam and salvager, at the right of locked targets is blure. And some turret icons in hangar are invisible.

Hi!
So far I haven't had any major issues with CQ, it's running stable around 60 FPS when standing still, and jumping around 55-60 FPS when moving around (all settings maxed out except FSAA which is set to medium).
My specs are:
Win7 x64 X6 Phenom 2 3300 Mhz 16 GB Ram 1600 Mhz (mem usage while in CQ rises about 1 GB) GF 470 GTX (latest drivers)
When Alt + Tab -ing to windows CPU usage goes to around 10% which is just a few % above where it usually is with the same programs open.
My issue is this: While running ingame, CPU usage goes through the roof, all 6 cores get around 70% usage. 6 thumbs up for the 6core support BUT cmmon... i've seen no other game that uses that much CPU... if I where running 4x cores (at the same Mhz) on the same settings they would be maxed out and I would practically not have enough resources to run. This is way too extreme! And although the gfx are pretty, they are not THAT pretty, I mean not on par with something like Crysis 2. CQ needs a lot of optimization as I can fully understand ppl with lower end rigs complain about performance issues.
What I can debunk is the memory usage... and the stuff about running multiple clients, as long as the client is minimized it shouldn't take GPU at all and memory ~ 1GB / client. But i think the CPU issue remains and probably what most ppl have issues with.
What I also noticed is a quite big delay when undocking, approx 20-30 seconds for the station behind the ship to pop into existence (previously to CQ this was maximum 1s). Again optimization is needed when switching between environments (unloading CQ textures and loading space textures).

Yeah the puppeter lines I have described before. I have them too, and reported before, never got fixed and they are here since incursion 1.6.

Disabling HDR re-enables warp effects again, having HDR on removes it, which is a bug, you must not have HDR enabled so you are not effected, Ive tried and confirmed this on two machines.

When I press CTRL-F to open FPS monitor it works fine, when I press it again to close FPS monitor it now opens another window, see image. Seems i could open windows until it crashes.

Two issues I've had, one more major than the other.
Major issue: Salvagers aren't showing up properly on the Prowler. One of them is floating somewhere in front of it, the other is down and to the right. They are not even attached to the ship. I mean unless the goal here was to finally implement salvage drones.
Minor issue: The Vargur's high slots are scattered all over the ship. I mean, yes, it's Minmatar, but it's also T2. Putting guns in the first four high slots should make a solid two-by-two arrangement of guns on both sides, not a box on one side and a silly s-shaped block from Tetris on the other. The other three slots are a little weird, too. One of them is on top of the ship, in a place that looks pretty interesting, but the other two are down with those guns on the side. Unify the turret arrangement, please?

Hi back. I really appreciated this post as it was clear and concise. I do hope that CCP take optimization seriously, and soon. I do not want to quit playing EVE, as I really enjoy it. I just paid for a 3 month subscription but still have yet to get the client re-downloaded. (Had it, played long enough to create a new character, get into the CQ then got the blue screen of death. Joy.) Thanks for your input!

Yes, I dont like it. I think the hanger is a sky box and the end of the ramp is set as sky... thats how it looks to have been done to me anyway.
